Our walk with Jesus would be so much easier if we didn’t have sin to contend with. We all know the inner struggle when we’re faced with thoughts or ideas that go against what we believe to be true or hinder the steps we should be taking in life. When we take a wrong step, we often feel shame, as if walls have been erected in our hearts between us and God. This Sunday, we’ll explore the practice Go...

This Sunday, we take our next step in the "Practicing the Way" series. We will be focusing on finding God in pain and suffering. This is an area the church has struggled in, and learning to connect with him in these moments is vital to our ongoing spiritual growth. Hope to see you here on Sunday!

On Sunday we turn our attention to “The Practices," the very things Jesus gave himself to that shaped his life and his relationship with the Father. In learning and practicing them ourselves, the hope is that we become like Jesus, go the rhythm of Jesus, and experience the fullness of Jesus.

This Sunday, we are back at it with Formation Part 2. Now that we know how we are formed unintentionally, let’s learn how we are formed intentionally. This week we will take a look at how our choices can affect the person we are becoming.

As we continue the conversation on what it means to be an apprentice of Jesus, this Sunday we will focus on formation. Formation isn’t exclusive to Christianity or any religion; it’s an essential part of being human. To be human is to grow, mature, and adapt. Spiritual formation is the process through which our inner self—our “spirit”—is shaped, molded, and developed over time. Together, we will d...

This Sunday, we will begin our new series called "Practicing the Way". It will be an important conversation around what it means to be an active follower of Jesus, a true apprentice who is with Jesus, who learns from Jesus, and does what Jesus does.

As we conclude the Freedom series, we'll not only reflect on what has kept us in bondage and how we've been set free, but also explore the question: What’s next? Now that we know we are free, how do we move forward in that freedom? Join us this Sunday as we close out the series and look ahead to what God has in store for us!

On Sunday, we step into week five of our Freedom series. We will focus on three core lies each of us struggle with that are birthed from the primary lie we talked about two weeks ago that leads to all sin... God is not enough. Our goal is to expose the lies, step into truth, and gain deeper freedom in every aspect of life!

On Sunday, we pause to talk about the power of shame that keeps many from stepping into the freedom available to us in Jesus and embracing our true identity as God’s children and friends. We will talk about it in light of the three cultural issues we have looked at. Money and finances, image and reputation, sex and love, and steps we can take to say yes to how Jesus views us.

Viewer Discretion is Advised On Sunday, we will continue our conversation about God‘s desire to bring freedom versus enslavement. Our focus will be on God’s gift of sex and the perversion of it in the world which leads many to spiritual bondage. I’ve invited Taylor Chastain to be part of the conversation to help us walk through a biblical journey of Gods gift, the impact of the fall and God’s desi...

This Sunday is a unique one. First, I get to invite Jamar and Elizabeth Cossick to share about two key cultural struggles that can lead to spiritual slavery…money and personal image. Second, we will end service hearing from all of our ministry leads and ways you can get connected at Vintage. You won’t want to miss it!

On Sunday, we shift our focus to the heart of the good news of Jesus…God’s power to bring freedom to all who believe! With our focus on freedom, we will also focus on the trappings of our culture that work to steal our freedoms and how we need to attack them! Our focus will be Galatians chapters 5 and 6.

This Sunday, we will take some time to look at our namesake verse, Acts 2:42. It is a foundational verse that speaks volumes about who we are at Vintage and who we are always aspiring to be as a church family. It also speaks to the expectations we can have of one another and the expectations we should expect others to have of us. This Sunday, we will unpack this verse and how we need to engage it...
