James introduces our new Joshua series, by looking at Courage from Heaven. He talks from Joshua 1, looking at how courage from heaven rests upon a clear assignment from God and the assurance of God's presence, and is anchored by the word of God. He also talks about how courage from heaven requires us to be courageous and step out in faith!

James finishes the Fully Alive series by speaking about Relational Maturity. Looking at Philippians 2, he says that the key to having healthy relationships is rooted in our own relationship with the Father. He also talks about two ‘relationship destroyers’ which we must avoid: selfish ambition and vain conceit, and that instead we need to reach for true humility.

Paul Cruchley continues the Fully Alive series by looking at Spiritual Maturity. Using Philippians 4, he unpacks one key to growing in spiritual maturity: learning the secret of being content. He confronts the idea of looking to success for contentment, tackles the issue of being content when life feels like it’s falling apart, and leaves us with the choice we have to make: respond with resentment...

James continues the series called Fully Alive, looking at emotional maturity. He uses the illustration of our lives being like an iceberg where 10% of us is shown and 90% is below the surface. Emotions are a good thing, we should not suppress them, we just need to bring them to the surface in a healthy way so that we can love God and love people well.

James begins our next sermon series, exploring how we can become ‘Fully Alive'. He talks about setting personal goals that will motivate us to really change and be fully alive, as described in Habbakuk 2:4.

Alice reads from Luke 2 and invites us to encounter and engage with this good news of great joy, whether for the first or the hundredth time. Just like the angels, she suggests that when we realise the depth of this good news of great joy, our hearts should want to worship God, share our faith, and be joyful followers.

In our carol services, Jen shares a message of joy with us this Christmas. She reminds us that real joy is not found is some THING. The joy that our souls crave is only found in some ONE. A person. Jesus. And this joy is available to all.

James concludes the Gospel Fire series, speaking from Acts 16 and explores the different ways that people come to faith by looking at three people from the Bible - Lydia, the slave girl and the jailer. He concludes that the gospel is for everybody, no matter who they are, and we all need it.

James continues our series on Gospel Fire, looking at Acts 11:19-24. He talks of the life-changing power of the gospel, that was never meant to be a microwave meal for one, but instead a banquet to be shared with everyone that we meet.

Guest speaker Adam Russell talks to us from Proverbs 4:23. He gives three reasons why we need to guard our hearts, and shares some practical tips to help us do this.
