Associate Pastor, Alice Meads, continues series in the book of James entitled Real Faith. Across the series we'll be looking at what it means to have Real Faith and how Real Faith outworks in our lives. Today, Alice unpacks the second half of James chapter 1 and how regardless of circumstances real faith is slow to speak, quick to listen, and faithful in acting.

James finishes the series in John's Gospel looking at Jesus' final teachings. He unpacks John 21 and the reinstatement of Peter.

Central's Site Pastor, Paul Cruchley began a new series looking at Jesus' teachings in the final hours of his life from the Gospel of John. He unpacked John 13 and the powerful moment Jesus washed the disciples' feet.

Paul finished off our Living Free series by looking at Galatians 6 and unpacking the warning that the Apostle Paul gives: you reap what you sow. He talked us through the importance of sowing to please the Spirit and gave some helpful tools for working out when we aren't sowing to please the Spirit.

Matt unpacked the second half of Galatians 5 and linked the presence of the fruit of the Spirit to how free we are living.

James spoke from Galatians 5:1-14 on the topic of Freedom for What Purpose? He unpacked the difference between the world's freedom and the freedom we find in Christ. Ultimately our freedom doesn't allow us to indulge ourselves but it flourishes from a relationship with God.

Paul spoke in both the Central and North sites on Galatians 2 and 3. He unpacked that the way to Living Free isn't simply through exercising our willpower but by dealing with the root issues in our lives by applying the gospel to those areas.

Senior Pastor James Rankine began our series through the book of Galatians - Living Free. He dived into the letter and what it has to tell us about the freedom that is found in following Jesus.

On Sunday, Alice unpacked a verse that’s often heard at this time of year - Isaiah 9:6. She acknowledged that this was a big week for our nation and that following the general election, however you voted, we need to remember that Jesus is our ultimate hope. Alice used this verse to remind us about the true meaning of Christmas – that a child was born, a son was given, and we have a king who reigns...

Matt opened the Christmas season by unpacking John 3:16 and teaching us that it was because God so loved the world that Jesus came to earth.

Jen concluded our two part mini-series on Generous Lives by taking us through eight principles of generosity. She challenged us to take on the mantle of Kingdom Generosity in our lives.

Paul closed out our We Believe series in the Central site by looking at the line from the Apostles' Creed: "I believe in the holy catholic church and the communion of saints." He unpacked Ephesians 4:11-16 to help us understand what the New Testament means when it talks about 'church'.

David Pike concludes our We Believe series in the North Site by looking the final part of the Apostles' Creed: the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Apologies for the quality of the sound recording; we had technical issues during the service.

James continued our We Believe series looking at the line from the Apostles' Creed: "I believe in the Holy Spirit." He shared that the Holy Spirit is the greatest gift that we'll ever receive; the helper who teaches us, guides us and meets us. He is not a force but a person, with a personality that we must not try to control.
