Even though the disciples have seen the risen Christ, their beloved Jesus, they are unsure what to do. John 21 tells us that they decide to go back fishing. What happens when Jesus finds them, once again not able to catch any fish? What can we learn from it?

This summer, Randy and Hannah were able to enjoy a Sabbatical break. Here is one of the sermons from September that unpacks some of that time away, especially exploring their time in Assisi, walking in the footsteps of St Francis and St Clare.

This week Laurie and Phyllis will share about Family Secrets and Restoration. In 2 Samuel 13-15 we find that David's brokenness leads to a series of suffering in his family. This Sunday we will finish our series on David. As we look at his last words we find out that his Final Words Reveal what has become of David. Perhaps there are some very timely messages that God has for us in the last days of David. In 2 Samuel 11-12 David's heart for God is distracted by his lustful eyes and envious spirit. Even in the midst of this brokenness, we find a contrite heart for God and some surprising redemption. May we learn what it means to be Beloved as Jenny Penner shares God's wide mercy in David's life.

There's a big need in our world today for Mercy. What can we learn from David, and even more, the Son of David, about Mercy. Join in and find out.

This Sunday in 2 Samuel 7-8 we find that David is his usual precocious self, planning great things for God. Is this what God wants? Maybe he should pause to find out. Thankfully God is going to tell him anyway, And we get to learn alongside him that sometimes God says no, but has something better planned for us all along!

As David enters his Golden Era, you can easily see that his heart is seeking after God. But his eagerness gets him into trouble. Once again let's learn together what Jesus has for us through this hard passage.

We continue the journey with David. How will he live out his Kingship? Perhaps that crown starts to go to his head, but there seems to be a few more faults in this man after God's own heart. What can we learn as we continue this story of war, love, murder and crowns?

Join us for the first communion Sunday of the New Year! As we continue the journey with David this new year, we finally see him realize his calling and anointing. David becomes King - though only of part of the kingdom. How does he deal with these tensions? What can we learn from it?

As we enter into a new year we will continue to look at David, his calling and anointing, how he dealt with it and what we can learn through his journey. In 2 Samuel 1, we find out David learns of Saul's death. How he responds gives us so much to explore for our own faith as we follow Jesus. Enter into David's Lament as we go into this new year together.

We will look at the time David hung out with the Philistines - yes - those Philistines! in 1 Samuel 27-31. As he found himself in an in-between time, so do we. How do you handle being in between things? What can we learn from David as we go into this New Year?
