Uplifted by The Parsha

In this episode I discuss how women are more spiritual than men, fighting the Yetzer Hara , Gilgulim and facing challenges.

It's hard to pinpoint what our purpose is on this world but we can learn one way to figure out what we are supposed to be doing from this week's Parsha.

The current situation in Eretz Yisroel has the potentiol to shake our trust in Hashem but we can learn how to plant the seeds of Bitachon and Emunah within ourselves from this week's Parsha.

We can learn from the Mitzvah of the Menorah how to jumpstart our relationship with Hashem.

We are stuck in a dark galus and don't know exactly how to get out of it but the Mitzvah of Shemittah teaches us how we can bring Moshiach.

It's very difficult to fight the Yetzer Hora  when you aren't involved in any spiritual related activity. However we learn an incredible strategy as to how we can overcome him from this week's Parsha.

We see from this week's Parsha that when we do a Mitzva despite not understanding how it connects us to Hashem it is still valued by Hashem.

My mother in-law lived a life enriched with Emunah and love for Hashem. She inspired others to climb the steps that lead to a high level of spirituality. And although she is no longer with us she left behind a legacy of Emunah. A legacy of love for Yiddishkeit. A legacy of yearning for Moshiach.  And  her legacy will last forever.

We learn from this week's Parsha that although we only have the potential to become closer to Hashem it is still dear to him.

I discuss how the Mitzvos compare to the Mishkan, how my father was someone who truly valued the Torah and how I lost my father but gained perspective on loss.

When we are far away from Hashem what stops us from returning to him is the thought that he doesn't want a relationship with us because we sinned. However the fact that Hashem gave us the Torah which is a way to connect with him shows that he wants a relationship with us. 

Purim is not just about dressing up like a twizzler, blowing people's ears off when we hear the word Haman or drinking until we can't even remember our own name. It's about using the Torah as a way to make Hashem part of our lives and that is something we can do throughout the entire year.

The Neis of the Ner Maaravi of the Menorah in the Mishkan teaches us that Hashem is always with us.

Many of us go through periods of feeling disconnected from Hashem but the Mitzvah of Donating to the Mishkan sheds light on how we can reconnect with him.

The laws of the Torah aren't there to restrict us but to give us the clarity to stay on the right path.

When you accept the Torah you are channeling your strengths to serve Hashem.

When you believe in Hashem you are showing you want to connect with him.

The Exodus from Egypt transformed our entire beings to become Hashem's chosen people.
