We talk about miracles in this sermon, and we have some choices to make as to what we think might be miraculous - giving thanks or faithfulness.

We attempt to try to talk about the hidden Gospel in a text that is filled with Jesus telling us who we should be and how submissive we should be, but we find that we are because He was first.

We talk about God's character of transparency and clarity. God gives us what we need to know clearly, so that we can speak with clarity about His Law, but more importantly, with clarity about His Gospel.

We're trying something new, publishing the readings that we read on Sunday before we get to them so that you can either be prepared or listen to them during that week.

We worry about what is fair because we think that we are fair, but in reality, Jesus shows us that we are all the recipients of unfair wealth being given to us out of His gracious life.

We talk about the character of a God who seeks out the lost and how that really makes for a different kind of faith that we have together as Christians when compared with other ways of looking at the world - we get excited about redemption.

We talk about integrity and how we are called to integrity, but how Jesus' integrity covers us even when ours is lacking.

We open up our next sermon series, “The Character in our Calling” by talking about the time when Jesus points out the judgmentalism of the Pharisees.

We wrap up our "Valued" sermon series talking about the hardest thing we could do, and how the hardest thing we can do is follow Jesus on the narrow way, but that He makes it accessible to us, and personalizes it to us.

We talk about why Jesus seems to be excited about something that seems horrible to us, the division of families, but when we look deeper, we see that Jesus is showing us something deeper than even our family lives.

We continue our Valued series by looking at the concepts of anxiety and faith.

We talk about value, what is valuable to us, and how we work out the parable of the Rich Fool. 

We talk about what was happening when Jesus gave His disciples His Words of prayer, the Lord's Prayer, and what those words mean for us today. We continue our “valued” series by taking a look at the story of the Good Samaritan, but almost ignoring the Samaritan character and focusing on the character who is really important to Jesus, the young lawyer.

We continue our "Valued" series on discipleship by considering the singleminded discipleship that we are called to while considering the singleminded salvation that Jesus won for us.

We kick off our "Valued" sermon series by talking about the first (but not last) step in our discipleship as we consider the sins and the evil that we need God to remove from our lives just as Jesus expelled demons from people.
