So many of us go through life wondering why we exist, what the point of life is, or what our purpose is. The good news is that our creator made each of us with a simple and fulfilling purpose for our lives!

Who we are, or who we THINK that we are, changes what we do. Many of our worst decisions came about because we thought we were somebody that we were not. So how do we make sure that we live from our actual identity?

Who are you? Where does your identity come from? Are we the product of our past, what people say about us, what we are good at, or is there something more?

No matter who you are or what you believe, we are all building our lives on some type of foundation. For some, it is our faith, for others, money, relationships, success, or something else. But no matter who you are, we all want to build our life on something secure and trustworthy. As we look at the song Castles by Lindsey Sweat, we will find out what that foundation is.

So often we think God should do what we want, when we want it. And when He doesn't come through like we thought, we get angry. But God's true promise to us is not that He will always fix the situation, but that He will be WITH us through it.

All of us are going to face evil and suffering, whether we follow God or not. But God has promised us that He can take ANYTHING, even the worst evil, and bring about good, if we continue to trust in Him and stand firm in Him. 

We have a God who is both resurrected and resurrecting. He brings life from death in our relationships, sin, addictions, fears, and more. We will look at this as we see what Resurrecting by Elevation Worship says about our God.

It is so easy to get distracted in 2019, especially from a relationship with Jesus. As we look at the song Nothing Else (Cody Carnes) and the example of Mary, we can see what it means to put Jesus above all distractions and other things in our lives and how that can change us.

If Jesus "drops the rock" and offers grace instead of condemnation, many times it leads us to asking this question: If we are offered forgiveness for all sin, can't we just do whatever we want? In this sermon, we talk about that question and what Jesus and the Apostle Paul say about it.

There are two things we consistently mix up with judgment. These two things are conviction and accountability. And while these two might feel like judgment, the reality is that they are good for us and will lead to a place far different than judgment. Hear how they can change your life for the better!

We look at John 8 to discover what judgment really is, what it is not, and what our God offers instead. 

We often wonder where God is, why we don't feel closer to Him, or whether He is even paying attention to us. If you have ever felt this way, this word is for you!

Sex is desirable, tempting, and part of human nature. So it's no wonder that it is so hard to honor God in this area! But African buffaloes and the Apostle Paul both have very helpful and practical advice for all of us in how to experience freedom in the area of sex.

When Jesus talked about sex, he didn't mention virginity. He didn't tell us how far we could go without sinning. Instead, he gave a teaching that would address sexual sin at its source and would apply to all cultures, situations, and technology.

Reckless love should never END with us. We are called to take God's reckless love and share it with others by the way that we live!

The love of God for us cost Him everything. But He didn't simply send His Son and forget about us. He continues to pursue us, to show us His love, and to chase us down even when we run away. God's pursuit of us proves how much He loves us.

How could the words reckless and love possibly go together? How could a perfect God be described as reckless? The truth is that the Gospel is a story of God's reckless love for his people and what He would do to save them.

So many people are dealing with depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts in our world today. We hear these words getting thrown around, but what are they really? And what does God have to say about them? In this talk, we get to hear from a mental health counselor about what mental health is, how to define these words, and what role God plays in it all.

The human race has a problem. We love to talk about each other. Gossip is something we have all done and all suffered from. But it's a bigger issue than many of us even realize. In this talk, we will look at what gossip is, what it does, and how we stop it.

Many times we want instant answers from God, but often He answers our prayers to be changed or made well by sending us into a process. If we aren't willing to go through the process, maybe we aren't willing to be made well. We talk about the pain of change and obedience in this sermon, featuring a testimony from Pastor Josh Delp.

So many of us have sin and temptation and issues in our lives that we wish weren't there. But so often, we continue to struggle in these areas. Perhaps, there is a step between us and healing that we aren't taking. Perhaps there is something that God is waiting for us to do before He heals us. 

We all go through pain in our lives, no matter who we are, where we come from, what color our skin is, or what we believe. Following Jesus doesn't get rid of the pain, but it gives us a way through the pain and a promise for the future. 

Listening for God can be really difficult. Are there some things we can do to hear more clearly from God? And when we hear from Him, how can we decipher whether it is His thoughts or our thoughts?

It may seem small, but when one person crosses a line and does something bold, others take notice. Over time, some will even join in crossing the line. And when we cross lines together, amazing things can happen.
