Often, we want to reach out across lines to other people, but our hearts and our favorites get in the way. How can we change from within? And what are some practical ways to reach out to those who are different than us?

Why is it that we see so much division and hatred in our world? Often, it is because we draw lines between ourselves and others. We do it because of gender, culture, race, religion, etc. So what did Jesus do with these lines? And what is He calling us to do with them?

In the fourth session of Epworth 18, we look at what it means to be in step with the Spirit. It's sometimes easy to feel the Spirit on a retreat or at church, but what about when we go back to normal life? How can we continually hear from Him and experience Him? What does a life in step with the Spirit look like?

In the third session of Epworth 18, we look at how we can better know and experience the Holy Spirit and His power. It comes through being filled with the Holy Spirit. What does this mean and how does it happen? 

In the second session of Epworth 18, we look at the power of the Holy Spirit. Why does He give us power? What does the power do? How can we have access to His power and how can it change our lives?

In the first session of Epworth 18, we introduce the Holy Spirit. Who is He? Where did He come from? What is His purpose? Why does He matter?

We often make promises to ourselves and God and others when we find ourselves in a bad situation. We say "I will never do that or I will start doing this". But so often we find ourselves in the same situations later. Why is that?

We all struggle in some way with our value and identity and the Gospel is the best the place to go to find who we are and what we are worth. 

The world stands in direct opposition to God. They are on two different sides. What is so different about the life the world offers versus the life Jesus offers? What is the life He is calling us to?
