In Christ, salvation comes by grace, not through works. In Christ, we have freedom from the power of sin our lives. We need to be grateful, and take advantage of the privilege that we have to worship God freely.

We need to remember... - There is power in the gospel - When trouble comes, God will strengthen you and sustain you. He will not abandon you. - God is renewing us day by day. - Focus on the eternal, not the momentary.

The Lion is worthy. (5) The Lion Conquered as the Lamb (6-7) The Lamb Is Worthy of Worship (8-14)

Our job is to share the Gospel. God harvests in ways that we do not see or understand. (26-27) The power is not in us, but in the Gospel. (28-29) Small beginnings lead to Kingdom sized impacts. (30-34)

Remember that it is the Lord that is building your life. Remember to lean, trust, and depend on the Lord as He builds your life. Remember that you are not just going, but you have been sent.

Benefits of Being In the Care of  The Good Shepherd We are fully known by the Good Shepherd. We are eternally safe and secure in the arms of our Savior and our Father. We have been given the Word of our Shepherd, the unbreakable Scriptures. We know the Shepherd by His works—revealed in Scripture and confirmed in our lives.

The Prayer Every Weary Heart Needs 1. We kneel before a loving Father. 2. We need strength in our inner being. 3. We need Christ to fully dwell within us. 4. We need to experience the vast love of Christ. 5. We need to be filled with God’s fullness. 6. We trust the God who is able

1. The Good Shepherd’s love is the ultimate example of self-sacrificing agape (ἀγάπη) love. (11-14) 2. The Good Shepherd’s love is deep, is personal, is intimate, and is available to the world. (15-16) 3. The Good Shepherd will willingly lay down His life and rise again to save His sheep, in perfect obedience to the Father. (17-18)

1. We need to listen for the Shepherd’s voice. a. The voice of Jesus will never be inconsistent with His Word. b. The voice of Jesus will call us toward Him, not away from Him. c. The voice of Jesus becomes clearer the more we follow Him. 2. Jesus alone can give sight, and it changes everything. 3. By hearing and following Jesus’ voice, we will have abundant life.

We are all born spiritually blind. Jesus alone can give sight, and it changes everything. In order to receive sight, we must first recognize our blindness.

Jesus offers life—even to those who misunderstand Him. (48–51) Everything God has done points to Jesus—don’t miss Him. (52–56) Jesus is Lord of all—and that demands your worship. (57–59)

Spiritual death is our reality apart from Christ. Going from death to life involves both the Word of God and the Spirit of God. God opened Jesus’ grave, and He opens ours, that we may live for Him, serve Him, and share Him with others. God reverses the natural order of things.  When the Spirit moves, we see… Not decay, but regeneration Not decomposition, but restoration Not death, but resurrection...

Isaiah 52:13 - 53:12

Abiding in God’s Word brings true freedom. (31-32) The Son is our only rescue from the slavery of sin. (33-38) The evidence in your life reveals who you belong to. (39-47)

Jesus, the Light of the world, offers us the light of life. To Know Jesus, is to know the Father that sent Him. Eternity hinges on what we do with Jesus. The Cross reveals Who Jesus really is.

Jesus causes division. Jesus’ words of life can be overwhelming. Those that reject Christ often target Christ’s followers with their scorn.

Everyone has an opinion about Jesus, but not everyone believes in Him. Jesus does not, and will not conform to our will, we must submit to His. We all have a thirst that can only be quenched by Jesus.

Jesus has the words of eternal life, and sometimes those words are offensive. (60-62) Jesus has the words of eternal life, and we need the Holy Spirit to help us to understand them. (63-65) Jesus has the words of eternal life, and they call us to stay even when others walk away. (67-69)
