Piano lessons gave him a formal start, but electronic music quickly took over. The energy of eurotrance and the possibilities of sound design opened a new world. Turntables soon followed. DJing was a way to share that passion, but it wasn't enough. He wanted recognition for the music itself, to create something of his own, so producing became the natural step. Over time this grew into a sound shaped by house, techno and trance, with the drive of techno, the groove of house and the melodies of trance when the track allows for them. A defining moment came with Crunk, a rework of Mary J. Blige's "Family Affair," released on Azuli. After being swept up in an EDM wave that never felt right, this marked a return to his roots.
