As is custom for the first Community Chapel of the new year, we are very pleased to welcome our President, Dr. Marjory Kerr , to speak to our community.

This week we welcome a new friend to the Tyndale Chapel pulpit: Bethany Nolson , Outreach Director at Cornerstone Christian Community Church in Markham. Bethany's message is entitled "Joy in Unlikely Places" based on a number of passages including Philippians 4:4. 

Pastor Blake Davidson of Willowdale Pentecostal Church. Pastor Blake has been married to Christine for over thirty-nine years and they make their home in Toronto.  He has been in full-time ministry for 41 years, serving as a lead pastor and church planter for the past twenty-six years. Blake's message is entitled "Ministry Secrets" and is based on several texts including Proverbs 25:2.

we welcome to the Tyndale Chapel pulpit Dr. Patrick Franklin , Associate Professor of Theology at the Seminary. Patrick's message is entitled "Pressing On! (or Being Pulled?)" based on Philippians 3:12.

We are very happy to welcome Dr. Rebecca Idestrom , Professor of Old Testament at the Seminary to the Tyndale Community Chapel pulpit. Rebecca's message is entitled "Experiencing God's Glory" based on several texts in Exodus and 2 Corinthians 3:18.

This week Dr. James Pedlar , the Bastian Chair of Wesley Studies at Tyndale, will lead our community through message — his talk is entitled "Weighty Words" based on Luke 4:14-21

This Wednesday, October 23, we continue our "Abide-Podcast" with a reflection on the third Christian virtue for this semester. This week's virtue is "courage".

We are pleased to welcome Scott Moore (MDiv '08), Executive Director of Youth Unlimited Toronto , to our pulpit. Scott's talk is entitled "In what direction are you going?" based on Matthew 11:25-30.

Monday September 30, is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and "Orange Shirt Day" in Canada. In commemoration of this day and in conjunction with Tyndale's Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Council (DIAC), we are honoured to have recording artist, musician, and speaker Jonathan Maracle, a Mohawk from the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory near Belleville, Ontario

This week's special guest speaker is Dr. Loren Wilkinson, Professor Emeritus at Regent College in Vancouver. Professor Wilkinson will be sharing with us some ideas from his latest book, Circles and the Cross. 

Dr. Sarah Han, Assistant Professor of Pastoral Ministry at the Seminary, to the Tyndale pulpit. Dr. Han is an accomplished speaker and ordained minister and will lead our community in a service of Holy Communion.  Dr. Han's message is entitled, "Love That Heals"  from Mark chapter two.
