Part of me cringes at the sight of some of these dated visual effects in this movie... But then the other part of me remembers that it was 1993 at the time, and that this was one of my favorite rentals as a kid. I can't fault this movie for not holding up on the eyes all that well, but I do give it lots of credit for being a bit ahead of it's time in the horror genre. That, and I love how disturbi...

I've always been a big enough fan of The Addams Family property to not distance myself from another animated entry... And being as though I watched the first animated film with my daughter this past weekend, my interest was had with this one here. I'm all for the creepy and cooky... Or however the hell they say it in the theme. Enjoy, people.

I've covered it a LOT recently, and I'm tired of talking about it... So now it's time to talk over it instead. Enjoy, y'all.

Shao Kahn is back to do his usual whoop ass and taunting schtick that we were introduced to in the MK II game... Not that I'm against it, but the guy has always had the upper hand strength wise over most of the Kombatants. Luckily we also get the good old trio of Liu Kang, Sonya Blade, and Johnny Cage to defend not only themselves but the realms as well, and they've got some help. They've also got...

This stuff just keeps pouring in, so it seems the creators are pretty confident that this will be a big thing... I'm hoping so, but we won't know for sure until it hits Netflix on Friday. Enjoy, people.

The disclaimer is up: If you hate this movie and are looking for a reason to complain about it, don't tune in... And I hardly ever say that. But don't come with the bs. This is in my top 5 Halloween movies ever made. Enjoy, people.

Director Fede Alverez has had my respect from the very beginning when he came out with the Evil Dead remake in 2013... So when he followed up with Don't Breathe, he showed horror and thriller audiences that he can do both practical splatter horror and very suspenseful thriller on screen. The guy gets it. But he's now taking a backseat and giving the keys to a new director whom he's worked with a l...

In case you missed the description, SPOILER ALERT is in order... Y'all have been warned, because there are tons of things in this trailer people will complain about. Not me, though. I'm still geeking out about this. Enjoy, y'all.

While I'm more so looking forward to the period piece taking place in 1666, the last trailer won me over and I'm excited to see this play out overall... I'm really hoping this turns out to be a banger for Netflix and it opens up the door for more of these childhood horror books to get on screen adaptations. That should be the ultimate goal. Enjoy, folks.

This season has been a banger overall so far, and I couldn't more invested in these characters and this story... Yes, it's starting to get a bit messy which is a concern for me but the drama has always been an intricate part of this series, so it's not enough to pull me out completely. Now it's time to see who shot Douda! Enjoy, people.

For a Marvel property I know not a single thing about, I sure am interested in how this looks overall... Good visuals, fight choreography, set/costume design, etc. This may be a sure win for the MCU in my book if it plays out the way it's looking. Enjoy, y'all.

So, so, sooo many Easter eggs and lovelies scattered throughout this new trailer, so I had to go through this one frame by frame... Spoilers may be ahead here. Enjoy, folks.

Oh, my Lawd... I still am in awe. Enjoy, people.

I remember reading an article about this and reposting, and then the news kind of just fading away as time went on... Then the trailer drops and as I look at the cast, I got overly excited at the mash up of black excellence. There's assorted OGs and Newbies that are all relevant on screen, and some behind the camera as well, but this is what I love to see. Especially in a period piece about horse...

Just when I thought BET couldn't get any worse than it's been in the past decade, give or take, this happened... Someone in a board meeting, probably stocked heavily with drugs and alcohol, thought this was a solid enough idea to make a serious toned and racially charged "thriller" out of. I'm not sure what's going on over at this network, but they need to be taken down and the building needs to b...

Finally another prayer has been answered horror wise... After warming up to the crazy first trailer for Candyman, I've been pretty anxious to see another trailer that explains a bit more about this "spiritual sequel" to the original classic. And now that I know this will be a body horror and basically a possession film in one, my interest is more than peaked. Blaxploitation horror is making such a...

Well, since I was pretty much dead wrong about this film and since the first trailer wowed be quite a bit, I'm here for all of this... That's all I have to say about that. Enjoy, people.

Being as though I missed out on the first two films for so long and had only gotten around to them last year, I found a different appreciation for them both... As I make my way catching up on all the missed blaxploitation horror flicks, the Blacula entries most definitely stand out for me. There's nothing like them in tone and as far as how they're put together. The voodoo aspect of the sequel alm...

WTF... That is all. Enjoy, folks.

Well, cheers to doing my first episode ever concerning horror cinema's best good guy, I think... It was about time I put some speck on his name also. Only now, I'm sharing it with not only him but his Bride to be, Tiffany. This joint venture is always a good time. Enjoy, people.

I couldn't find the tv show anywhere, since that's what I would've prefered to cover entirely, so this late 80s gem had to do... And that's not to say this isn't a joy to watch, because I appreciate all aspects of a cheesy comic book B-movie with my boy. This is a property I feel DC is sleeping hard on, so hopefully they pick it up sooner than later. All the vegetarians of the world would be pleas...

I guess the Tune Squad can lead LeBron James to a championship moment this year of the Lakers couldn't get it done in real life... That's the way things work at times but if I can put my frustration aside, let me say that I'm very interested in seeing this. The first trailer surprised me, and the cartoon character nostalgia is certainly in the building. Enjoy, folks.

I wasn't overly impressed the first time around... Outside of the period piece ideas they're using, it just seemed a bit bland to me. But second chance points are always liable to change things around, right? Enjoy, people.

Easily thee most underrated entry in the NOES franchise, and sue me if that's too bold of a statement... There's a rare final guy who can scream with the best of queens, there's a possession film at hand, there's strange occurrences, there's broken franchise rules, and there's a very scary and intimidating Freddy. What's not to love here? Enjoy, people.

Well, here's to hoping that we get another solid vampire flick... I stick to my guns when I say 30 Days Of Night still has the bar set when it comes to this type of genre, so the recent years have been a bit of a dry spell overall. The airplane setting has been done in horror, but I don't think I've seen a vampire film solely set there throughout, so it may be interesting. Enjoy, y'all.
