1 Peter 4 Suffering is what Jesus did for us and we are expected to do the same.  But we live in America, where we’re free to worship. Persecution is something we really don’t understand. For that alone we should be “Super Christians”.

1 Peter 3:1-12 Part 1 of 1st Peter 3 The word submit in our culture gets a bad rap. Verse 1 says “wives be submissive to her husband”. Don’t walk away just yet, let’s talk about this. Peter lays out Gods plan for the family. It’s a plan that really works.

1st Peter Chapter 1 Peter was an amazing character in the New Testament. He’s just like you and me, a man who through fear of disappointing Jesus was willing to walk away. Now   he’s writing to us to explain how good our reward in heaven really is if we will just hold on even through hard times…

James 5 Now he starts by calling the culture around us. We are the light to the world. If we are trying to be like the world then there’s no light coming from us. Get out and vote America is future is in our hands, pray for our nation.

James 4 James never holds back. He calls out the church for their bad behavior. People fight and argue among each other. Doesn’t sound like church at all. We don’t see this often in our church but we do need to be reminded of who we are in Christ.

James Chapter 3 If you have ever read the book of James than you know it challenges the way we live, talk and even think. Does your life express the way you say you believe? Can people tell you are a Christian just by how you live or react to life? If you don’t like being challenged you might should pass on this message.

James Chapter 2 There’s a-lot of theologians that think we shouldn’t preach the book of James. Let me try and explain, if you’re truly saved by your faith in Jesus Christ then your life should show it. It’s really not that difficult, some just don’t want to hear it.
