True North High School Ministry
Created to Rule the World (Genesis 1:28-2:17) | Pastor John Fabarez 16.09.2024 54:48
We studied the creation mandate from God to humanity and pushed our students to consider God’s purposes for men and women in his world. The most important action we can do to live out our purpose is to obey God’s word without hesitation or questioning.
Created in God's Image (Genesis 1:26-27) | Pastor John Fabarez 09.09.2024 55:56
The image of God is the defining characteristic of humanity in the creation account. It is the first thing we learn about humans in the Bible! If our students understand what it means for all people to be made in the image of God and the implications of this idea, they will be equipped to discern whatever lies the world spreads about humanity.
Created in Six Days (Genesis 1:3-25, 2:1-3) | Pastor John Fabarez 01.09.2024 53:04
Genesis 1 is a text written in the historical narrative style and it teaches that God made our world in six days and then he rested on the seventh. Our students need to see the massive worldview and theological problems with the modern myth of naturalistic evolution.
The Uncreated Creator (Genesis 1:1-2) | Pastor John Fabarez 25.08.2024 49:34
As we begin our yearlong study of the book of Genesis, we must stop and consider all the theology and worldview data that is contained in the first verses of the Bible. God was in the beginning and created the world by the word of his power. Everything Christians believe depends on this!
That God is First in Your Heart (1 John 5:21) | Pastor John Fabarez 18.08.2024 54:31
John ends his letter with a warning against idols. Christians today can make idols of any good gift from God if we devote ourselves to them more than to God. In our hearts, we need to be on guard against this foolish and shameful sin!
That Your Prayers Will Be Heard (1 John 5:13-15)| Ashton Jacobs 11.08.2024 38:58
Don’t be satisfied until you are assured that you have a saving relationship with God.
That You'll Overcome the World (1 John 5:1-5) | Nathan Yovichin 04.08.2024 45:50
John makes clear that each person who trusts in Jesus will be transformed, no longer prey to sinful temptations but characterized by love and obedience. We are called to confidently and consistently live out our faith because of Jesus’ life-transforming victory.
That You Love Like God (1 John 4:7-12) | Pastor John Fabarez 28.07.2024 50:10
Love is one of God’s key attributes that affects everything he does. He expects us to love others like him because we have received so much love from him!
That You Are Safe with God (1 John 3:19-24) | Pastor John Fabarez 21.07.2024 25:27

We Are Made to be Social | Revival 2024 | Session 1 | Pastor Mike Fabarez
That You Are God's Kid (1 John 3:1-10) | Pastor John Fabarez 07.07.2024 48:53
God’s word is clear that every person is either a child of God or a child of the devil and one’s lifestyle shows one’s spiritual parentage to the world. 1 John 3:1-10 will bring great comfort to true children of God and great fear for those who practice habitual sin and thus prove they are not aligned with God. Our students need to respond rightly to this truth.
That You Won't Walk Away (1 John 2:18-25) | Pastor John Fabarez 30.06.2024 50:09
We are warned that those who walk away from the faith were never in a right relationship with God. Church kids should be on guard against walking away by being firmly rooted in the truth.
That Your Heart Isn't In The World (1 John 2:15-17) | Pastor John Fabarez 23.06.2024 53:42
The apostle John warns Christians to stop loving the world and the evil things in the world because that kind of love is incompatible with loving God. Our students need to be warned against the allure of the world so that they would love God most!
That Your Sins Are Forgiven (1 John 1:8-2:1) | Drew O'Connell 16.06.2024 48:54
We are all sinners before God, but only some people agree with God about how wrong their sin truly is. There is no hope for forgiveness from God without our humble recognition of our sins and the atoning sacrifice of Jesus.
That You Are In The Light (1 John 1:5-7) | Pastor John Fabarez 09.06.2024 47:27
The apostle John reminds his readers that God is morally perfect and anyone in a right relationship with God will reflect God’s holiness in their life because the sacrifice of Jesus cleanses them from sin.
What is True North? (Psalm 16:8) | Pastor John Fabarez 02.06.2024 44:58
This high school ministry exists to prepare your students to live the Christian life in a non-Christian world until they grow old and die. We want True North to be the most important group that your students are a part of (besides your family) for their high school years.
Solid or Shaky Foundation? (Matthew 7:24-27) | Pastor John Fabarez 26.05.2024 46:40
Jesus demands that we do something about what he has taught us. It is not good enough for us to know or agree with what he says, but we need to obey. Our students need to just do what Jesus says over and over again.
Mind Control (Philippians 4:8) | Ashton Jacobs 19.05.2024 40:41
God cares deeply about our thoughts, and we ought to be very careful to train our patterns of thoughts to glorify God. It is better for ourselves and everyone around us if our thought life is righteous.
Real or Fake Christian? (Matthew 7:21-23) | Pastor John Fabarez 12.05.2024 50:39
Jesus warns us that making a profession of faith in him is not enough to get us into heaven. Many people who claim that Jesus is Lord will go to hell. Those who do the will of God from the heart prove that have a saving relationship with Jesus.
Good or Bad Influencers? (Matthew 7:15-20) | Pastor John Fabarez 05.05.2024 52:17
Jesus warns his disciples to avoid false teachers and the eternal destruction they lead their followers towards. Our students need to grow in discernment so they are not misled by false spokesmen for God.
Narrow or Wide Road? (Matthew 7:13-14) | Pastor Roi Brody 28.04.2024 42:47
Jesus ends his Sermon on the Mount with 4 concluding illustrations. The first calls upon Old Testament wisdom imagery of two paths which lead to life or to death. Jesus calls his listening to respond to his teaching, and our students must submit to God and obey him or their lives will end in eternal destruction.
