True Neutral Presents: Bad Movies

On this, the thrilling conclusion of October, and Batmonth, is the Long Halloween, Part two! Catch all your favorite villain, Calendar Man, not to mention, cops! It's one hell of a show, and there's marital discourse, too! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

This is Keenan's first exposure to the Snyder verse, and they hated it, in detail. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

We're getting close to the end of October, and that means Halloween: The day, the event, the long! Part One. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

A now legendary comic tale of Joker's One Bad Day theory put into practice. How did the bois like this adaptation? I don't know, I didn't listen back to the episode. Jeez. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Continuing Keenan's Batmonth, we have the classic tale of Robin dying at the hands of the Joker and just how Batman handles that. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

It's Spooky time, and Keenan's month for movies, so it's time for Animated Batman month! What a better way to start than with 2019's animated adaptation of the classic comic run, Hush. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Closing out Derek's Gangstember, a month where he shows Keenan gangster movies they should have seen, we have The Godfather. Mario Puzo and Francis Ford Coppola's classic, inspired by real life gangsters, movie. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Gangstember keeps on grooving along with Lucky Number Slevin. Derek's showing Keenan gangster movies they've never seen, does this belong with Scarface and Goodfellas? You tell us. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Following along on Derek's Gangstember, we've got another classic full of short guys, Goodfellas. It's not that short, but it is pretty good, fella, and the fellas are short, so ya know, something for everyone. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

We're in Derek's Gangster month, showing Keenan a few of the classic gangster films they've somehow never seen. Starting with one of the quintessential movie posters on the walls of assholes, Scarface. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

In the name of every god, I hate this film as much or more than Jerry Seinfeld. This is a back asswards bullshit attempt at a Star Wars film that fails at obvious attempts at fan service as they drop the ball of every legacy left to them. Sorry, I thought about the film for like, three seconds and got mad. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Continuing along the galactic byway that is Keenan's Star Wars month, we're making a stop at a more controversial pick. The Last Jedi is actually Keenan's second favorite Star War ever but the public's reaction and overall rating of this one fits it squarely with the likes of Solo and Attack of the Clones. Was that fair? No, the public's an idiot, but it's a great excuse to watch a great movie, an...

It's a prequel, it's an origin story, it's a legendary character in a tumultuous time for the galaxy, and it's fine. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

We begin our Summer of Star Wars that is just August with the most reviled of the prequel films, Episode II- How incompetent is the Jedi Council? Or its more popular title, Attack of the Clones. Keenan is an ardent prequel defender and Derek hates them, should be fun! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Alright, this film is bad, disrespectfully bad, but it does technically have Bruce Lee in some of it. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Bruce Lee's penultimate performance and our penultimate Bruce Julee film, Game of Death. It's fine Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Bruce Lee's directorial debut, a fun film and worthy of its accolades. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Continuing the well known month of Bruce Julee, we are going chronologically, so we have his second film(see how that works), known as Fist of Fury or The Chinese Connection. This one's a wild time, the movie, I mean, the episode is average. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Starting of Derek's month of Bruce Julee, we've got Bruce Lee's first film, The Big Boss. Also, Keenan had never seen a Bruce Lee before this, not even a guy called that, though they have been to his grave, funny enough. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Finishing off Keenan's sports movie month, we've got an early Zoe Saldana vehicle(costarring Nick Cannon), Drumline. Not a sport you say? BAH, this is maybe the sportiest movie of the month! Enjoy! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Continuing Keenan's sports movies month, we have another Keanu Reeves classic, starring Gene Hackman as well, The Replacements. Happy Juneteenth, not that it's relevant to the movie, but this episode is coming out that day. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

We bring it back to Keenan's childhood with this pick. Angels in the Outfield's got it all, Danny Glover, orphans, a deadbeat dad, casual smoking, Mathew McConaughey, what more could you want? Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

"This is against everything that's right!" Play Ball! Join True Neutral for a month of sports movies, that's right, sports movies. Keenan grew up playing sports and the films around the subject are, well, hit or miss. We start this month of misses with the 2001, Keanu Reeves vehicle, Hardball. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Concluding Derek's Guy Ritchie month, we've got The Gentlemen. It's got Mathew McConny in it. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Did you know Guy Ritchie directed and cowrote this? Did you know it's damned abomination? IT IS. I don't mind giving the game away here, this movie is just surprisingly awful at every turn. Enjoy our misery. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
