This episode is the second week of our four week mini series titled "ABIDE". Last week we walked through prayer and this week we are walking through how to abide in God through reading the scriptures. In Mark chapter 10 the Pharisees seek to trap Jesus in the cultural complexity of marriage and divorce, a situation that is equally complex today.  The main thing Jesus desires for his followers to know is that God does not desire divorce.  We hope this sermon on marriage, divorce, and our posture in social issues is helpful to you.

Psalm 26 a psalm of David walks us into an aspect of Christian life that is powerful important. . . Integrity. What does it look like to walk in integrity? How does God view our integrity? The life of a christian is most satisfying when you are glorifying God. He alone is worthy of all glory and praise. Yet we often rob God of the praise and glory that is due to him. How do we lose sight of him and his glory, and what does our life currently give the most glory to? Listen along with us this week as we work through Psalm 29 with Pastor Derek. 

What do we do when we are overwhelmed with burdens and weight?  God does not desire for us to carry those burdens on our own.  Psalm 55 guides us through the process of trusting the Lord with our burdens by casting them on Him.

Why then do we find ourselves in patterns of unthankfulness? Where does thankfulness come from and how can we best express it? May God's Word teach us what the thankful life of a believer looks like.
