From the cross we hear the the very famous line "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?". not often do we realize that as Christ is quoting psalm 22 from the cross we are seeing him complete this prophecy. In the same way that children imitate their parents, Christians are supposed to imitate God our father. This week as we continued through the letter to the church at Ephesus, Paul called us to imitate God by walking in love, walking in light, and walking in wisdom. This wee, as we continued walking through the letter of Ephesians, we dove the depths of our sinfulness and summited the heights of God's Grace toward us in Jesus.  We hope this sermon is a honest reminder of our desperate need of God's mercy and an overwhelming reminder of his rich love and great love.  We have been saved by Grace through faith. 

Our greatest need is to know God more deeply.  There is nothing more important and nothing more impactful in our lives than this.  But this ultimately is something we need God to do in us.  So, like Paul, we pray asking him to help us know him more deeply.
