Peter steps up to deliver a powerful sermon, rich in the Old Testament scriptures, to preach the risen Christ and His salvation to those gathered in Jerusalem. The filling of the Spirit led immediately to the proclamation of Jesus!

When the Spirit comes, what happens to the Church (People)? And as the Spirit moves, how do believers live? Pastor Jerry unpacks Acts 2 and how the gathering, waiting and praying led to a filling and a "going" that changed the world forever!

When Jesus leaves, He commanded the disciples to wait for the Helper! They had heard the Lord speak about the Spirit, but they didn't know who they were about to meet. Dig deeper and walk through the Word with Pastor Jerry.

"Her children rise up and call her blessed..." Proverbs 31:28 Pastor Jerry walks through the famous love chapter and reminds us of how a mom's love reflects God's love for us.

After the apostles leave Jerusalem, some go fishing again in Galilee. Jesus surprises them and makes them breakfast, but pulls Peter aside for a restoration conversation. Join Pastor Jerry and dig into what they talked about, but more importantly, why they needed this moment.

Jesus loved His disciples, but He understood that at times each one had their own questions, their own need. This passage both reveals Jesus' resurrected body to His friends, but also shows how Christ ministers to Thomas when he was questioning.

When 2 disciples walk home from Jerusalem on Easter Sunday, Jesus joins them for a conversation and a revelation! Even after He rose, Jesus continues to minister to us. Take a look at the Old Testament shadows of the feasts and the temple, and how the substance they point to is Christ!

This Easter, remember the power of Jesus's resurrection and be transformed by His grace!

Jesus' words on the cross quoted David from Psalm 22. Walk through the chapter as we remember the cross, reflect on Jesus' sacrifice and rejoice in His victory.

Jesus begins Holy Week with a victory parade! Similar to a celebration of a king who just won a battle, the people welcome their Savior before He even fought the battle. Palm Sunday is a great reminder that Jesus is our King, our victory and our Savior. Hosanna!

Jesus completes His work on the cross, paying for our sins in full. As our church took communion and studied the Word, we remembered that Jesus' death was the moment our redemption was accomplished. And we celebrate the fact that the "tomb nearby" was only borrowed for the weekend!

When we look at the cross, we see hope, forgiveness and so much more. But the layers present at Calvary are worth digging into. The fulfillment of Psalm 22, the link to 1 Samuel 17 and the Goliath story, and so much more! Grab your Bible and study this passage with us as we look to Jesus and His death that He died for us.

We began the sermon by watching an excerpt of Jesus' scourging from the Passion of the Christ movie. As we move into the more graphic part of Jesus' suffering and ultimate death, we're reminded of what He did for us and the price that was paid for our sin.

How do we fight to keep our church gatherings simple? We take it back to the beginning 4 foundational practices. Scripture, Fellowship, Communion and Prayer. Pastor Jerry reminds us of what the gatherings of the church should be centered upon during this special outdoor service.

What does faith look like when change comes to our lives? Guest teacher Pastor Fidel Gomez shares a testimony of God's faithfulness to him and his family over the last 40+ years they've been planting and ministering in various churches across South Florida.

There's a deep parallel between Leviticus 16 and John 18, but there's also an important conversation that happens between Pilate, a ruler of this world, and Jesus THE King of the Universe. Grab your Bibles and dig deep with Pastor Jerry!

An eternal God created everything out of nothing - what He has spoken and made was intentional. So why are we surprised when His creation is questioned or the intent of His design is doubted? Notice the pattern of Peter in this passage. The disciple who talked a big game fell away when the pressure rose. The one who chopped off an ear in the Garden denies Jesus when he gets exposed at Christ's trial. Although Peter's example isn't one to follow, we still see Jesus' divinity and mercy through this interaction leading to the cross.

Scripture is full of examples of compromise for us to learn from - Adam compromised with Eve, Lot compromised with Sodom, Saul compromised and desired what God told him to destroy. Demas compromised and loved the world more than he loved Jesus.
