We live in a world of religious confusion. There is no end to the bizarre list of traditions that have developed as a means to honor some concept of the divine. Fire-walking. Prayer wheels. Leaving food at gravestones. Tattoos – yes, tattoos originally had religious meaning in pagan cultures. And by the way, did you know that God specifically forbade His people from getting cuttings in their flesh...

Gerald Weston - TVCA1505 - What is most important to you? Is it your politics, career or family? What is the most important thing in your life? Many profess one thing, but their actions tell a very different story. For some, the pursuit of fun and pleasure is seen as the ultimate motivator. Is there a lasting goal that we should be striving for?

Gerald Weston - TVCA1504 - In 2018, U.S. President Donald Trump made headlines for blasting several members of NATO for spending less than 2% of their national GDP on defense. Less than 10 years later, these nations have agreed to more than double their spending. Committing to invest 5% of GDP to defense at the 2025 NATO Summit in the Hague. Rebuilding these once proud militaries will take time. B...

When was the last time you took a trip to the zoo? What about an afternoon at a marine park to be entertained by dolphins and seals? The late fellow evangelist and Tomorrow’s World telecast presenter Richard Ames and his wife once paid us a visit when we lived near Toronto, Canada. While there, we stopped at a Butterfly Conservatory near Niagara Falls and I must confess, I’d driven by it numerous...

Stuart Wachowicz - TVCA1503 - In ancient Greece, physicians took an oath as they began their medical career. A form of the Hippocratic oath has been used for North American doctors for several decades. It includes the prohibition of giving "a deadly drug to anyone who asks for it." We can see that this promise is no longer very compatible with the social demands and expectations of today's society...

We are living in increasingly stressful and distressing times. It seems that, in every way we can imagine, the world is becoming more unstable, more dangerous, and more morally confused. In fact, things are so bad that surveys show even many who have never cracked open a Bible in their lives are beginning to wonder--are we living in the end-times? At the same time, the world has seen difficulties...

Our world is suffering. Soldiers endure the stress and violence of war. Innocent civilians are displaced or brutalized, caught between warring factions. Homes are destroyed, lives are disrupted, families are torn apart. Even in countries free from armed conflicts, many people suffer from drug abuse, alcohol addiction, broken homes, and physical or sexual abuse. For some, their home life is filled...

Gerald Weston - TVCA1501 - Jesus came to die the penalty for our sins. But what does that mean? The answer to this question may shock you. It can be found by studying one of the most famous passages in the entirety of scripture—John 3:16. Often referred to as ‘the Golden verse,’ this passage includes information vital to answering some of the most complex questions related to the Bible.

Many Christians passionately believe in the hope of the Rapture--the belief that before the terrors of the Great Tribulation descend upon the world, Christians around the globe will suddenly and mysteriously vanish, “raptured away” by Christ, as they are taken up into heaven to wait out the terrible events of that prophesied time of devastation and destruction. Meanwhile, those “left behind” must...

Stuart Wachowicz - TVCA1502 - Throughout mankind’s history, illness, depression, crime, and war have been thought of as unfortunate but normal. Considerations of global societies where none of these problems exist are often dismissed as fanciful tales of ‘utopia.’ ‘Utopia’ usually refers to an imaginary state, not something that could happen in the real world. The Bible contains many prophecies of...

The mishandling of student protests over Israel’s war in Gaza brought about the resignation of three Ivy League University Presidents in 2023 and 2024: Liz Magill of the University of Pennsylvania, Claudine Gay of Harvard, and Minouche Shafik of Columbia University. A fourth Ivy League President, Cornell’s Martha Pollack, also resigned, but claimed that she was considering stepping down prior to t...

A quarter to one third of the Bible is prophecy. And yet most people don’t take Bible prophecy seriously. Long-time viewers of Tomorrow’s World know that on this program, we not only discuss world news, current events, and Christian living. We discuss Bible prophecy. And it’s not just because it’s a curiosity. It’s not just to discuss exciting things about the future. If we have ears to hear, God...

I’ll begin today’s program with two simple questions: “Why marriage?” and “Why family?” These are questions few consider, but they are among the most important of all questions as the answers have everything to do with the very purpose of your life. Let’s be clear, marriages and families are in disarray everywhere. The family institution, though healthier at some times than others and in some coun...

Almost 2,000 years ago Jesus Christ gave a dire warning: Mankind would eventually bring all life on earth to the point of extinction, and that only His return would prevent that catastrophe. The fulfillment of this prophecy seemed impossible until the end of World War II, when the first weapons of mass destruction were deployed against Japan. Yet in the decades that have followed, the ways in whic...

Close Encounters of the Third Kind was a science fiction drama that burst onto the big screen in 1977, and it was a blockbuster hit for writer and director Steven Spielberg. For our younger audience, who may be unfamiliar with the film, the main character, played by Richard Dreyfuss, was an electrical lineman. Through a long series of events too complicated to relay at this time, he ends up having...

Many claim that science has removed the need for a Creator. After all, they say, we now know that the universe began in a sort of “Big Bang”--expanding in every direction we can see. We understand the structure of matter--why it behaves the way it does, and the laws that govern it all. Closer to home, we understand life itself, they say. It simply evolved from non-living matter, with chance combin...

There’s great emotion in the air. The organist is playing a sentimental hymn, people are looking upward, waving their arms with tears streaming down their cheeks. A blind man is escorted onto the stage by an attendant. The popular evangelist asks him how long he has been blind, and does he believe Jesus will heal him? He answers: From birth and yes, he believes. The evangelist then hits the poor m...

Over 100 aircraft dropped bombs on strategic targets, and more than 850 Tomahawk missiles were launched from US Navy destroyers and submarines. Over forty top Iranian military commanders were killed in the opening attack, along with supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Iran’s response was immediate. Hundr...

Gerald Weston - TVCA1414 - Consider that there are only 3 fundamental hypotheses for life existing on planet Earth. That life was transported to earth, evolved from non-living matter, or that life is the creation of an intelligent creator. Which is correct? Can you know?

Greenland. An American territory? That was the idea proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump. Of course it made headlines around the world. It even sparked a few humorous videos on social media… because the prospect of America taking Greenland just seemed preposterous. But it also caused serious discussions among European leaders. It even led to a small contingent of military personnel being SENT t...
