October 3, 2022, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) 03.10.2022

Friends of the Rosary: We pray the Joyful Mysteries of Holy Rosary from the city of San José, California, in the heart of Silicon Valley. October is the month dedicated to the Holy Rosary. In 1206, the Most Holy Virgin Mary appeared to the Spanish priest — and later, founder of the Dominican Order — St. Dominic of Guzman. Throughout history, we see many triumphs of the Rosary, such as the defeat o...

October 2, 2022, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) | Hurricane Ian Special Prayer 02.10.2022

Friends of the Rosary: All perfect gifts are from above, from the Father of lights, with whom there is no shadow. These words, written by James the Apostle in his first letter, are critical for our daily dwelling. There is so much cheating and deceit in our society that it's easy to get very confused. Only through prayer, our conscience will tell us what’s a human creation, what's satanic, and wha...

September 30, 2022, Holy Rosary (Sorrowful Mysteries) | Hurricane Ian Special Prayer 30.09.2022

Friends of the Rosary: In yesterday’s reading, the apostle Nathaniel, who recognized Jesus Christ as the Son of God, was promised to see great things. The Lord Jesus told him (Jn 1:47-51) “You will see heaven opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.” That’s what awaits us if we humbly seek the grace and wisdom of God: unexpected, glorious events today that we cannot...

September 28, 2022, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) 28.09.2022

Friends of the Rosary: St. Augustine composed a poem titled "Death is Nothing". This is the text: "I have just moved to the neighboring room. I am who I am ... you are whom you are, That which we were to one another, We will always be. Call me by my name. Speak to me like you've always did. Don't use a different tone ... Don't take that look; solemn or sad. Continue to laugh at that which made us...

September 27, 2022, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) 27.09.2022

Friends of the Rosary: The Divinity wants us to gain the perfect joy of Heaven. For that, His hand is leading us through challenges and joys. One day we are placed in spiritual darkness with doubts and confusion. But on the next day, God let us enjoy the light of His truth and joy. That means that one day we are consoled and on the next day, we may find life hard and sorrowful. Through all these c...

September 26, 2022, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) 26.09.2022

Friends of the Rosary: In yesterday’s reading ( Lk 16:19-31 ), Abraham said to the rich man who was desperate by claiming help for Heaven: ‘If they will not listen to Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded if someone should rise from the dead.” Do we need to see heavenly miracles in our life to start a committed life of faith? Seeing miracles with our own eyes does not guarantee ou...

September 25, 2022, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) 25.09.2022

Friends of the Rosary: The story that Jesus tells to the Pharisees (Lk 16:19-31) that we read today in the Gospel, is extremely revealing. There was a rich man who lived sumptuously, enjoying any pleasure of life and ignoring God and the poor, starving neighbors. He died and went to hell, suffering the eternal torment of fire. There, he asked Abraham for relief or at least to warn his five brother...

September 24, 2022, Our Lady of Mercy, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) 24.09.2022

In 1218, in Spain, the Blessed Virgin appeared in separate visions to St. Peter Nolasco, St. Raymond of Penafort, and James, King of Aragon, asking them to found a religious order dedicated to freeing Christian captives from the barbarous Saracens or Moors. At the time, Saracens or Moors held a great part of Spain. The Merce...

Friends of the Rosary: We honor today, September 23, St. Padre Pio of Pietrelcina, a contemporary Italian priest and Capuchin friar whose life was devoted to the Eucharist and prayer, including the Holy Rosary. While praying before a cross, Padre Pio received the gift of the stigmata. He was the first priest ever to be blessed. He was a much sought-after spiritual advisor, confessor, and intercess...

September 22, 2022, Holy Rosary (Luminous Mysteries) 22.09.2022

Friends of the Rosary: What’s our business? Our business is the Kingdom of Heaven. To serve God now and enjoy Him in the next life. That’s why we all are called to build the Kingdom of Truth. And what does God what? As St. Paul reminded us in last Sunday’s reading (1 Tm 2:1-8), “God wills everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” Friends, let’s do what’s good for us and what...

Friends of the Rosary: Today, we celebrate the feast day of the apostle Saint Matthew, who chronicled the life and ministry of Christ in his Gospel, the first of the four Gospels. Matthew was a Jewish publican tax collector who turned into a disciple of Christ. Tax collectors on behalf of the Roman rulers of first-century Judea were hated among their own communities. Jesus first encountered M...

Friends of the Rosary: St. Padre Pio, whose feast day is this Friday, September 23rd, said, "Pray that God will console you when you feel the burden of the Cross, for in doing so you are in no way acting against the will of God, but you are placing yourself beside the Son of God who asked His Father during the Agony in the Garden to send Him some relief." Like the Son, we will receive consolation...

September 19, 2022, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) 19.09.2022

John Paul I gained a reputation for his humility and his dedicat...

September 18, 2022, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) 18.09.2022

Friends of the Rosary: Can we serve Jesus Christ and the material world we are in at the same time? In today's Sunday’s reading ( Lk 16:1-13 ), Our Lord explained to his disciples through a parable, “No servant can serve two masters. He will either hate one and love the other or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and mammon." In the silence of our hearts, we might h...

September 17, 2022, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) 17.09.2022

Friends of the Rosary: Through her Rosary, the Most Holy Mary enlightens us about the divine mysteries of the Gospel and consoles us in our pain. In the Memorare prayer, at the end of the Rosary, we highlight that the petitions to Mary are answered. She gives us as much as we ask as long as our requests are aligned with the sanctification of our souls according to the Divine Will. The Immaculata,...

Friends of the Rosary: In this month dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows — yesterday we celebrated the feast day — we are invited to reflect and try to understand the pain and suffering of the Most Holy Virgin. When a sword pierced the heart of the Immaculate, the thoughts of many were revealed to her, as the prophet Simeon said in  Luke’s Gospel . Mary, Mother of Sorrows, remained at the foot o...

Friends of the Rosary: The feast of Our Lady of Sorrows that we observe today invites us to reflect on Mary's deep suffering and the seven great sorrows which She lived in relation to Her Son. These are Mary's seven sorrows: 1. In the prophecy of Simeon (fourth Joyful Mystery): "You yourself shall be pierced with a sword - so that the thoughts of many hearts may be laid bare." (Luke 2:35). 2. On t...

Friends of the Rosary: We observe today the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, the instrument of our redemption and the glorious sign of victory. We must take up Christ's cross and imitate Him. We identify with Jesus on the Cross and become co-redeemers, sharing in His cross. We make the sign of the Cross, giving our entire self to the Creator — mind, soul, heart, body, will, and thoughts!...

Around 30,000 people gathered there, despite the mockery from the atheistic and secular newspapers of the time. The Virgin encouraged Lucia to pray the Rosary every day. The Holy Mary announced that in Octob...

Friends of the Rosary: Today, we observe the feast of the Most Holy Name of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It follows the feast of her Birthday, on September 8th. The etymology of the Virgin name comes from the Hebrew name of Mary, Miryãm, (in Latin Domina ), which means lady or sovereign. We call Mary our Lady as we call Jesus our Lord. And when we pronounce her name we affirm her power, implore her ai...

Friends of the Rosary: On September 11, 2001, 19 radical Islamic murderers attacked with four plains full of passengers the World Trade Center buildings in New York and the Pentagon, causing the deadliest terrorist act in world history.
