Today's Key to Confident Living

God has no hands but our hands and no feet but our feet.  Whatever you do for others you are doing for him.

Sometimes the littlest things impress our children the most.  Things we don't even think about came be game changers for them and us.

Does Jesus care about how we handle our money?  Yes he does: over 50% of Jesus' parables deal with money and our view of it.

Are you able to believe sometimes for big things and at other times just a little thing can trip you up?  The man responded to Jesus, "Lord, I believe, but help me in my unbelief."  I can identify in what he said.

Do you want to have a lot of friends?  If so, then be a good listener.  It is amazing how many people will connect with you if you are truly listen to what they have to say.

The mundane, tedious and repetitive actions are just what we need to defend ourselves against things our spiritual enemy throws at us on a daily basis.

We need to learn to give thanks in all circumstances, even when to others those circumstances look bad.

Years after an American group of soldiers saved his life and others in his town, he went looking for the group leader in order to honor their heroic deed,  Expressing thankfulness is a virtue that needs to be nurtured in all of us.

Too often we get into trouble when we don't stop to consider what blessings we have.  Experiencing things from the other side of life make us take notice of how we we have it.

What God forgives, he forgets.  The Bible says God puts our sins in the sea of his forgetfulness.  One does not need to carry around a heavy burden that God lifted off years earlier.

How do you talk with God?  You may need to develop a unique plan to help in your prayer life.

Have you tried the Good Shepherd approach?  Life indeed may be tough, but he leads you beside calm waters and causes you to lie down in lush pastures.  His very presence gives peace.

The doctor doesn't ask the patient to help supervise the surgery, hold the scalpel or apply the anesthetic.  He only ask for authorization to do the surgery.

Today, why not picture laying all of your burdens, fears and worries at the feet of your heavenly Father and then trust Him.

Wrong decisions, bad choices and unavoidable circumstances can turn a thing of beauty into despair.  But a broken life doesn't have to stay that way.  We can turn the pieces over to God and He is able to bring beauty out of ashes.

Psalms 19 says that night after night the heavens declare the glory of God without even saying a word.  In fact, on a daily basis the whole world gets to learn about God's creation just by looking into the night sky.

One of the 10 Commandments says we are not to steal.  God gave this word to humanity not as a suggestion but as a commandment so we would show proper concern for the welfare of others.

Gossip separates the best of friends, creates a cloud of ill will in the office and often gives false information about good people.  The Bible strongly condemns gossip and Christians are not to share it.

Jesus didn't teach indiscriminate welfare, but he did teach love and compassion for those who are not able to help themselves.

Your act of kindness may not pay a complete medial bill, but it does not go unnoticed by our Heavenly Father.

Our faithfulness to our jobs and organization should not be dependent on our status in the company.  Faithfulness is a virtue we need to pursue  because it is right - not because it will move us up the ladder of success.  Jesus reminded us that "if we can be trusted with little, we can also be trusted with much."

God has used angels on many occasions to care for the impoverished, but he would just as soon people play that role where possible.  Jesus reminded us that when we care for the needy in his name, it is just like we are  doing it for him.

The little voice within us is placed there by God to help guide us through life.  We need to pay attention to it.

The Bible says, "If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all.”  Courage in the face of criticism and ridicule is difficult, but needed.
