Week 20: Upper Cervical Misalignments - Mechanism of Subluxation 10.11.2025 28:49
In today's episode, we discuss the mechanism by which upper cervical subluxations cause nerve pressure and dysfunction. This is an important piece of the assessment if we are going to create a proper correction.
W&P Wednesday: 665-680 06.11.2025 48:23
In today's episode, we continue on with some advanced physics concepts that are used to evaluate spinal movements as well as loads and strengths. These concepts help us to understand how the body functions and can be studied with accuracy.
Week 19: Lower Cervical Misalignments 03.11.2025 28:46
In today's episode, we begin Chapter 8 on Cervical Misalignments C2-C7. This chapter will discuss the proper technique for evaluating misalignment of the lower cervical segments using radiography.
W&P Wednesday: pg 650-665 31.10.2025 47:57
In today's episode we cover some more advanced physics concepts and how they affect our understanding and measurements in biomechanics.
Week 18: Cervical Misalignments C2-C7 28.10.2025 21:15
In today's episode, we begin Chapter 8 and we look at the unique way that we access the cervical spine. Once we know where the subluxation is, we have a system for evaluating the misalignment to know what we should and should not do.
W&P Wednesday: 635-650 23.10.2025 45:12
Today we begin Chapter 9 (the final chapter). We will be discussing physics principles and how they apply to the spine and its motions.
Week 17: X-ray evaluation of Thoracic Misalignments 19.10.2025 21:59
In today's episode, we will take the theory we discussed last week, and we will apply it to the x-ray evaluation to ensure that we have proper application leading to correct conclusions. We will also discuss the proper corrective procedure as a better way of understanding what is happening conceptually.
The 1505 Club Rewind: Dr Danielle Gilbert, DMD 17.10.2025 1:29:51
In today's episode, we revisit a conversation I had with Dr Gilbert. She is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and she has performed hundreds of lip tie and tongue tie procedures. She also happens to be my wife, and I assisted her with all of those procedures. In this conversation, we were able to talk about our shared experience and what we have learned about this unique space from the dental...
W&P Wednesday: Osteotomies and Chapter Review 15.10.2025 25:15
In today's episode, we complete Chapter 8 by looking at surgical use of osteotomies as well as a chapter review of all the essential knowledge that we can gain from this entire chapter.
Week 16: Thoracic Misalignments 14.10.2025 26:30
In today's episode, we will look at the uniqueness of the biomechanics and misalignments in the thoracic spine. The purpose of which is to best ascertain how we should be correcting these misalignments to produce an actual correction and not merely a noise.
W&P Wednesday: pages 602-618 10.10.2025 43:32
In this episode, we conclude Part 4 on Spinal Instrumentation. This includes a review of all instrumentation that can be used on the entire spine.
Week 15: Lumbar Listings 06.10.2025 32:52
In today's episode, we complete chapter 6. We will be talking about the use of radiographs to determine the position of the vertebra relative to the one below it. This is a crucial first step in being able to properly assess how to correct the subluxation.
W&P Wednesday: 579-602 03.10.2025 1:17:35
In today's episode, we will be discussing spinal instrumentation. This includes wires, internal appliances, and even prosthetics. The idea is to better understand the conditions under which each approach is applied, its strengths and weaknesses, and how we, as chiropractors, can apply this knowledge for our patient's benefit.
Week 14: Lumbar Misalignments 29.09.2025 30:05
In today's episode, we begin Chapter 6 on how to identify Lumbar Misalignments. This chapter highlights the X-ray evaluation procedure for determining the direction of misalignment and how to correct it.
W&P Wednesday: 570-579 27.09.2025 24:35
In today's episode, we will be looking at a material called PMMA. It is used in emergency situations to hold together fractured vertebra. It is still used today, so it is very important for us to understand the nature of this material and how it is used.
The 1505 Club Rewind: Dr Eric Russell 25.09.2025 51:17
In this throw back episode, we talked with Dr Eric Russell about "practical philosophy". This was a great conversation about how you can use philosophy on a daily basis to influence how you practice.
The 1505 Club Rewind: Dr Ian Rossborough 23.09.2025 1:32:08
In this throw back episode, we talked with Dr Ian Rossborough and covered the topic of how he got started in chiropractic and how he grew his practice in the beginning.
Week 13: Compensation 22.09.2025 22:50
In today's episode, we will conclude Chapter 5 on the Mechanism of Subluxation by discussing Compensation. This was a revolutionary idea in Dr Gonstead's time, and the Gonstead system is still one of the only technique systems to address the presence of compensation. This episode is crucial for learning how to distinguish between subluxation and compensation.
The 1505 Club Rewind: Dr Cliff Fisher - The Purpose and Value of Training 19.09.2025 1:03:43
In this throw back episode, we will be talking with Dr Cliff Fisher about the purpose and value of training. Dr Fisher has been a trainer for AlignLife for many years, and he has some unique insights from his experience in that role.
W&P Wednesday: 555-570 Posterior Constructs 18.09.2025 47:39
