What are some of the issues that cause some peoples' prayers to go unanswered? Why have some believers' lives failed to change?

A sacrifice is a painful offering you give up, usually for the sake of a better cause or surrendering a possession as an offering to God. Our God is a God of sacrifices; and as a child of God, if you want to live a victorious life, you sh'd walk a sacrificial life - a sacrifice releases power (Gen 22:1-2 / Lev 22:20-21 / Rev 5:12 / 2 King 3:27)

God works for people but its one's perception that enables one to breakthrough and also receive miracles - what you perceive and believe is what you get. Don't focus on your present but the great future that God has promised and planned for you

Ministry is found in church, and church is made of people not buildings. For the church to be established, there should be an appointed person and place - God chooses a person He will use and a place He will dwell in. A church doesn't just happen but has a calling and a covenant (Matthew 18:20 / Exodus 3 / Acts 17:30-31)

Everyone is living in the now, but there are things that are yet to come or happen in the future. What is happening now is a depiction of the things that are yet to come but can also of what can hinder them; and if you work on your present, you can be able to change your future. For a believer to be successful in life and overcome life challenges, one has got to understand the power behind having faith, and also knowing how to exercise it in order for the word of God to come to fruition (⁠Romans 1:17⁠)

Because of the new covenant and blood of Jesus Christ, our lameness and failures are forgiven, mercy is exended; and in turn God will come down and perfect that which concerns us.

When you're faithfully waiting upon the Lord, you don't struggle or faint but He provides refuge to sustain you; when you cast you burdens upon the Lord, in the course waiting, He will sustain you and won't let you be shaken. Patiently wait upon the Lord and, in the appointed time He will deal with you and perfects that which concerns you (Psalm 55:22)

There are blessings and victories that are being held and hindered by the devil because whatever glorifies the name of the Lord, the devil tries to resist it. So in each blessing from God, you've to resist the devil and part your part by; standing your ground, fellowshiping, confessing the word of God, praying, fasting and waging spiritual warfare

Thoughts are real and also very powerful. Every thought has an origin, spiritual root and an objective, so always discern the intent of your thoughts (Prov 23:7 / 2 Cor 10:5)

In all godly things, the Holy Spirits iniates and what He starts always yield great results. God is only pleased and rewards those who are obedient, and obedience starts with abiding with what the Holy Spirit commands you to do. As believers we need to learn & understand the voice of the Holy Spirit (Phil 4:17 / Gen 6:3)

Trust is a very important element in one's Christian journey. Everytime you focus your eyes & put your trust in people, you'll never see God - God will never appear if your hope & trust is in things and people. We have to spiritually mature and know that God has the final say in everything and that Salvation comes from Him alone

Some believers' prayers are ineffective and go unaswered because of chaotic thoughts and mindset. How does one counter the unseen obastacle of chaos?

As a believer you must grow and mature in all areas of your life - spiritual, physical, mental, economical and others; and out of maturity comes stability, enlightened perspective and wise decision making (Gal 4:1-2 / 1 Cor 13:11)

Having the Holy Spirit is one of the signs of being called a child of God. Godly things are spiritual and are done by the power of His Spirit, and the only way to fully know God and the deeper secrets of His Kingdom is by having His Spirit - to know God, you need to have the Spirit of God
