Out of nowhere, Nintendo decided to announce a new StarFox game for the Nintendo Switch. Last week we talked about Xbox Gamepass getting a price reduction and it actually happened?  Not to be outdone, Nintendo has started doing dynamic pricing between physical and digital games. Are these permanent across the board?  Is this another gaming trend that will catch on? 

Xbox CEO Asha Sharma has agreed that Xbox Gamepass Is TOO. DAMN. EXPENSIVE. in a leaked memo. Is Xbox going to do a 180 degree turn on their recent price hike?  If you were on a desert island, what three consoles+library would you bring with you?  Windrose is out in Early Access and our bearded beauty from Boston has had a little time with it. We start the show talking about the new food at Fenway and which disease you're going to get while eating food that will bankrupt you.  Monster Hunter Stories 3 is a very fun JRPG set in the Monster Hunter universe.  Another live service game is dead as The Cube, Save Us is shutting down in about three weeks. 

We were very well represented at PAX East and we're recapping everything we played! 

MLB The Show 26 has released and we have the problem of answering a simple question: "Is MLB The Show 26 any good?" Court, Pez and Wabba discuss. Also, Slay The Spire 2 has come out to a thunderous applause and a massive amount of people playing it on Twitch, so what has our Pezzy thought about it? 

RIP Xbox, you're officially becoming MICROSLOP!  Steam Next Fest is loaded with games to try out.  MLB The Show 26 is close and there's more news every day! 

Sony had one of their best State of Plays after our podcast last week so let's talk about it.  Wabba got into some Balatro style Blackjack game.  PAX East is COMING! 

Firstly, Discord is telling its users that they're implementing either facial scan or uploading your ID to prove you're an adult. What scary times eh?  We've played Restory, which is a wonderful, cozy assembling game where you run a secondary shop to fix older things. It's quite fun.  Pezzy played Mewgenics and No Rest for the Wicked and has some thoughts on them. 

Highguard is losing more and more players. Xbox had a developer direct and our social batteries are dying in our old age 

Ubisoft has cancelled their Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake and five other games which were unannounced. What are you doing Ubisoft?  Is it Pokemon or medicine?  Court has finally played Borderlands 4, let's quickly talk about it. 

Gamestop is closing 470 locations in 2026 after closing 590 stores in 2024. It seems that the once game store giant is on hearing its death bells so we want to send it off the only way we can: with some fun memories.  Also Fallout Season 2 has been really good so far, let's talk about what we've enjoyed so far. 

Dummies are falling for another "infinite money glitch" because people on the internet are incredibly stupid.  Pez has been playing Megabonk which is so much fun and Court tells us about his experiences with Meta Quest 3 S! 

The game awards STINK

Stranger Things Season 5 is finally here and Pezzy has watched the first drop. Get his thoughts on the newest season. Court has played AC Mirage's new DLC and has some big thoughts on it. 

Arc Raiders is MASSIVE among the internet right now, what does our Pezzy Boi think of it? Court has finished Call of Duty Black Ops 7's campaign and.... Plus Black Friday is coming, what are you buying? 

There are a ton of games out, but we're also thinking about attempting the backlog? The portal now has cloud gaming and it could be a game changer in the handheld space, also Switch 2 sales are blowing up! 

 Valve killed off the CS2 skins market and people have, literally, lost everything. Xbox's newest handheld is crazy expensive and there are talks that their next console will be a PC hybrid. Pez has played a few indie games and they're delightful. 

 Ghost of Yotei is here and it ABSOLUTELY RIPS! Court has some impressions for you all. Microsoft has made more changes to Game Pass that makes their price increase even WORSE! We've went hands on with Outright Games' new Bratz game. 

Xbox stupidly increased their pricing. EA has been sold to the Saudis and Jared Kushner for a ton of money and is going private.  Is that good? Is that bad?
