Some spoilers ahead for the 2021 follow up to the 1992 film, a firm favourite of the Just So Jables team. It's a case of Just No Jables this week as he's off enjoying his holiday, but there's still a presence as we discuss the new series of Ghosts - the BBC's beloved sitcom and Our Kid's favourite show.

All grown up this week for The Courier, a tense cold war thriller that's a bit outside our wheelhouse. Plus mixed reactions to the House of Gucci trailer and (another Producer Ben classic) Around the World in 80 Days - like Willy Fog but with animals! In the jungle this week and Producer Ben gives us what is possibly the world’s worst film synopsis. Plus Our Kid has a rant about Chaos but calms down for the trailer for Minions: The Rise of Gru, and stay tuned for the blooper-filled sponsor recording, which was far too funny to cut.

The Suicide Squad mostly makes up for the disappointment of the previous film. Even Producer Ben thought it was ‘okay’. Praise indeed! Plus Jables finishes a retrospective of Marvel Phase 3 and Our Kid reflects on Good on Paper.

Jables is unimpressed when Our Kid's failure to grasp the complexities of international scheduling lands them in St Petersburg with Major Grom. Plus Masters of the Universe: Revelation, more thoughts on Fear Street and thoughts on trailers for Ghostbusters: Afterlife and And Just Like That.

This week we ponder the point of The Forever Purge (but don't come out any the wiser). Plus the season finale of Loki, mixed feelings about The Watch on BBC iPlayer, Fear Street 1666 and Guns Akimbo.

Lots to like in this more subtle addition to the Marvel universe. Plus our thoughts on The Tomorrow War and starting down Fear Street.

Freaky may not stretch beyond its genre-blending concept, but what more does a body-swap slasher-horror comedy need to do? Plus Hobbs and Shaw and Sophie: A Murder in West Cork on Netflix.

F9 goes so far that Jables wonders if it might be a surrealist masterpiece. Or maybe he's just had too much coffee. We also watch The Fate of the Furious, The Dead Don't Die and series 5 of Rick and Morty.
