Wade and Joyce Estes are longtime members of Memorial Road. They are often recognized by their large family. They have 12 children, 9 of which they adopted. In this episode, they share about their foster care and adoption journey, if they have plans to do it again, and the ways they’ve seen God work through it all. Oh, and watch out for Wade. He loves a good dad joke.

This week we talk with Victoria Wilguess. She shares about her health journey and the struggle she went through as a teen to gain a diagnosis. She’ll also share about her open heart surgery and how she now gives back to those going through similar surgeries. Plus, she shares about her relationship with Chuck Norris (yes, that Chuck Norris) and his wife, and how that came to be.

This week we talk with Mary Brookman. Mary will share about her love for ministry, her work with Spiritual Direction and, of course, we’ll talk about her husband, Memorial Road’s Preaching Minister Phil Brookman. 

Sam Hawkins moved to Edmond a couple of years ago and found a place to belong in the Generations class. In this episode, Sam shares about the inner battle he had to balance faith with science, how he struggled to connect with God, and what finally helped to do just that.

This week we are talking with Mike Wiley. Mike has survived multiple health issues that prompted him to start the Touched by Cancer Support Group here at Memorial Road. He’ll share his journey, the verses that mean so much to him, and the gesture he now shares with others to make sure they know he cares.

Today we’re talking to Rhonda Martin. A member of more than 35 years, Rhonda is known for sharing about Jesus with everyone. Today we will hear her faith journey and she will share tips on how we can all share the good news with others.

Today we’re talking with Dan Waugh, one of our elders. Dan will share about his life as a twin, his unique childhood plus two significant accidents that left him with severe, even life threatening injuries.
