This Awkward Life

Thankfully we have this story that reminds us that even the greatest among us have flaws.

I was selected for jury duty this year, not once but twice. I hated every minute of it. Heres what I learned.

We all know life can change in a split second

Default settings are the standard or preset configuration, behavior, or setting of a device, software, or system before any changes or customizations are made. They are often recommended by the manufacturer or are what most users would typically choose. What are our default settings as humans?

I recently met a young man who, at eighteen, is just now taking up the game of basketball. Even though he is seven feet tall, he isn't a natural by any stretch of the imagination.

I came across a slow driver today. Two lane road, rural Mississippi, speed limit 55. I am not a fast driver but htis car was moving slower than me.

It's totally okay to unplug from social media for a while. If you run a business it's more difficult but it possible. Be safe because your life is streaming.

Be authentic, present Jesus through yourself and let your faith flood this world.

The 1970s were an exciting time to grow up in. I caught the tail end of one of the best eras to be alive in America. Vast changes in technology in the 1980s and 90s quickly robbed us. All the new gadgets were supposed to save us time, but we see where that has led us. There was a time when everything shut down. Stores, Television, and Radio stations all had a curfew. The two age groups that enemy attacks the most is the young and old. The middle age folks are busy raising families...

We want to be used. Used in the sense of being appreciated by God or man. We want to leave our mark on this world. But what about the world to come?
