Thinking God's Thoughts

What is it that you should be doing? Is God unhappy with us if we don't read our Bible enough, don't give enough, or don't do certain things? As Christians, pleasing God should be a priority, but we first need to know what God thinks about what we should be doing. There are many people who are crippled by fear, hindered from living the life that God desires for them to live. Others are fearless to the point of recklessness, and don't seem to care about the consequences of their actions. We know that Jesus Christ has won the victory over sin, and we are not under law but under grace. So what happens when a Christian sins? Are there consequences, or not? Is it still true that God blesses the righteous and judges the wicked? This episode looks to the Bible for answers.

In Romans chapter 7, I read of a fierce war taking place within me, as the "sin that dwells in me" fights against my desire to do that which is right. What is the cause of this war? This episode is a little different from normal - we are going to pretend that I have died. What would you say, if you had the chance to send back one more message from the grave? Plus, we will see what the Bible means by, " For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God."
