Pastor Dustin Clegg continues working through the book of James as we talk about faith. Today we look at James 4:13-17 and explore what it means to have A Lasting Faith, and look at steps we need to take to guard ourselves against burnout in our walk with Jesus. Dustin also talks about some of the values that The Bridge is built upon.

Today Dustin asks two questions from James 3:13-18 and James 4:1-12.  He details how our attachment to worldly systems and values makes us unable to clearly hear from God.  He describes how a requirement for saying "yes" to God is to say "no" to the world.

Today was a fun-filled day as we gathered at the Splash Pad in downtown Wynne to celebrate several baptisms. We also had the pleasure of hearing from Keith and Cindy Watson about the call on their lives to leave Arkansas for a season and go to Zambia. Afterwards we gathered at Cottonwood park for a time of food and fellowship.

Today as we continue our walkthrough of the book of James we look at chapter 2 verses 14-20 and explore what it means to have an active faith. Pastor Dustin Clegg challenges us today with verse 17, "In the same way faith, if it doesn't have works, is dead by itself" and distinguishes "dead" faith from "active" faith.

Today as we continue with our study of James and what this book says about faith, we look at James 1:26 - 2:13. Pastor Dustin Clegg talks about our ability to show mercy with our words and our actions. He concludes todays message by saying that the only way we can truly live the Christian life is to constantly dwell on the mercy we have been shown by Jesus Christ.

Today we continue with our study in the book of James as we look at Chapter 1 verses 19-25 and explore what James has to say about faith. Pastor Dustin Clegg reminds us that our willingness to obey Jesus is not the same as actually obeying Jesus. Just as James tell us, we are to be doers of the Word and not hearers only.

As Pastor Dustin Clegg continues with the series, A Life Like No Other, we explore John 8: 2-12 and see that The King of Compassionate Authority has the authority to eliminate guilt in a person's life, and we don't have to live under condemnation if Jesus has freed us from it.

Today we visit with Jeremy Bailey with the Odell McCallum Center to talk about the summer programs he is having for the kids in our community. Then we look at Hebrews 13:8-16 and explore Jesus "outside the camp".

Happy Mother's Day! Today we explore the relationship of Mary and Elizabeth as we look at Luke 1:39-56 and how that applies today as we worship, and as we disciple and show mercy to others.

Today as we continue the series, A Life Like No Other, Pastor Dustin Clegg leads us through 1 John 3:19-24 and speaks about Truth for Healing. He starts by asking the question, "'Have you ever heard anybody say "Follow your heart!"?"'He finishes by saying that when our hearts condemn us, use BOL. Today was also a day we observed the Lord's Supper.

Today as we continue in the series, A Life Like No Other, we explore 1 John 3:11-18. Pastor Dustin Clegg invites us to look at three points: (1) Jesus changes our capacity to love, (2) Jesus broadens who we love, and (3) Jesus changes the nature of our love. He concluded by saying that our only hope in obeying this passage is to connect 1 John 3:16 to John 3:16.

Today the Bridge Church met at the Splash Pad in Downtown Wynne and held our first baptism service. We had a great time of fellowship and worship, and witnessed five baptisms on a beautiful Easter morning. Pastor Dustin Clegg wrapped up the morning with a unique perspective on "The Easter Story" and challenged those present to "come and see".

In this third in the series, A Life Like No Other, we take a look at 1 John 2:15-17 and explore the love that God hates. Before the message, though, Casey Carlson shares briefly about his new "life like no other".
