Hey folks, it's time to go cow tipping-sacred cow tipping.  It's one of the things we do best.  We get into four doctrines and practices that simply don't line up with Scripture.  We do it in love and in the full disclosure that we used to do these things ourselves until the Lord jerked the slack out of us and showed us what the Word says.

We continue talking about when the things that we equate with worshipping God, begin to be worshipped themselves and the pitfalls in there.  We also talk about Cathedrals, why we don't trust digital Bibles, and how to set aside what has you bound.

In this episode we read from some rabbinical commentary on how early civilization descended into idolatry while saying they were worshiping God.  We then get into the Word to see how this same principle was present in Jesus' day and is alive and well in both the corporate church and even our own lives if gone unchecked.

Well we finished up the series on Gates, Keys, Foundations, and Judgments and like we do at the end of a long series like that, we just talk about whatever has been on our hearts.  We talk about lessons learned from the past series, Podcasts that never happened and got down some rabbit hole with Crazy Horse and General Patton.

We conclude our series on Gates, Keys, Foundations, and Judgments by getting into what the Bible says about justice and judgment from Acts through Revelation.  We specifically explore what that means for us as believers.

In our continuing series on Gates, Keys, Foundations, and Judgments, we get into what judgment looks like in the Gospels and how THE JUDGE, Jesus Christ demonstrated and taught about how to judge rightly. We also discuss the consequence of getting it wrong and how to identify improper motives.

We continue to talk about Old Testament Judgment in the context of what God said through his Word about righteous and unrighteous judgment. We took a few rabbit trails this episode but we had a blast going through most of Psalms.

Continuing our series on Gates, Keys, Foundations, and Judgments: We get into Old Testament Judgment from Genesis to the time of the Judges, gleaning what we can from Scripture to see what makes for righteous and unrighteous judgments.

Do you know that keys are mentioned less than ten times in the Bible? Isaiah prophesied that Jesus would be given the keys of the house of David.  This was also confirmed in Revelation when Jesus addresses the Church of Philadelphia.  He has also given us keys to Kingdom in Matthew 16:19. Recently we began talking about the gates of the city being the place of the elders that pronounced judgment. This word for elders or ruling council is translated "church" today.  When Jesus says He's setting up His Church, it is to be to administer His Judgments on earth.  We get into the importance of foundations, which are closely related to gates in this episode.

We continue to talk about the parallels of self-defense and spiritual warfare and the importance of being balanced in this process. We continue to get into the progression, being tested, weapons, and operating balanced as a team and not just individually. We also talk about the importance of our position in Jesus Christ when we find ourselves knocked down.
