We continue our discussion of Jonathan Cahn's book: The Return of The Gods.  We discuss what the influence of Baal looked like in Israel and how it corrupted them and what it looks like in today's time, especially in Western Culture.

For the next few episodes, we are going to discuss the book,  Return of the Gods by Messianic Rabbi Jonathan Cahn.  In this we discuss the idea of gods/demons affecting behavior and how they might go by many different names, we can see  that it's the same old same old and you can see who they are by the behaviors and ideas they are influencing.

We recorded this on location in Bardstown KY, so there's some background noise.  We talk about the significance of being able to detect what's going on spiritually and how it influences what we perceive around us.  We also discuss how to thwart the enemy's ability to get away with things by the Holy Spirit revealing Spiritual reality to us.

We continue to share supernatural experiences we've had in our walk with the Lord.  In this episode we discuss some of the darker experiences we've had as well as the importance of remaining grounded in the Word and our relationship with Jesus Christ so we can fight the good fight and wage a successful warfare.

We get into more examples in Scripture which show that True, God-Ordained Authority will always prevail over false and usurped authority and get into some of the dynamics in these stories and discuss how they apply today.

Recently the Lord shared something during a church service with C-Dub which is the topic of discussion.  The message was simple: True authority will always prevail over counterfeit authority.  So we get into the Word and find Biblical examples of this principle just to make sure C-Dub isn't full of it.

C-Dub continues to tell what happened when he went to church on New Year's Eve and Day.  We take a few rabbit trails, but also get into important discussion on what to do when God tells you to talk, the importance of humility, and the benefits of simplifying your life and learning how to be alone with God.  We then get on the topic of our favorite pizza in Southern IL.

Welcome to our 100th episode. When you're ministering in the wilderness every now and then, God will have you go into town and you see things you didn't notice before the wilderness experience.  We conclude our discussion of what happens when you're sent back.

We weren't planning on talking about Ministering in the Wilderness again, but we were reminded of something that marked not only our wilderness experience but also some of the Bible heroes we mentioned in our last two podcasts: Going into town.  

We continue to show what it's like not only to be in the wilderness to get closer to God but also what it looks like when He has you minister to others in this environment. We look at Scriptural examples of Elijah, Elisha, and John the Baptist. (and a few more...)

We've talked a lot about the wilderness experience, where God gets you alone with Him and everything else shuts down so you can know Him more intimately.  However, there are times where you can end up ministering to others going through the same experience.  We talk about some personal experiences and get into the Word and talk about Moses ministering in the wilderness. In our last episode, we got into the Old Testament to look at what it looks like when God calls you.  In this episode, we look at New Testament examples and also share the process of how God called us to do what we're doing now.

Churches will tell people that they have a calling from God on their lives.  Well what does that mean really?  We get into the Old Testament and delve into what it looks like when God calls you and point out some commonalities in the process.
