What a phenomenal day (and last hoorah?) on Peak yesterday eh? But also a super grabby, thick rain crust layer - sheesh! The mandatory download to the village caused big wait times yesterday - plan accordingly today and tomorrow ;) Lot 8 also has restricted parking now, FYI! Happy Tuesday! ^_^

I hope you had a great Easter weekend! ^_^ The high Alpine hasn't opened since Friday (Harmony and Symphony were open on Saturday) - see ya up top!

Good Friday? Great Friday! 15cm and still snowing! However, the freezing level (1600m) and winds are high: look for steep fall line skiing and speed/momentum in heavier areas ;) No ski out to Whistler Village today; lots of live music options; easter egg hunts; and paid parking will be in effect in Lots 4 and 5 starting next saturday, April 15th! Happy Easter ^_^

High winds and a higher freezing level than we've seen all week arrive with today's storm. There was a trace on the snow ruler again this morning and skier volume has been light on the hills but will likely be very busy this weekend for Easter and with this incoming snow! But just how much will fall I wonder? Happy Thursday! ^_^

I recommend enjoying the sunshine this AM before the low pressure front and questionable amount of precip arrives later today. Fingers crossed for some more April Pow from me! ^_^

Another sunny morning today with increased cloud forecast for the afternoon and slightly warmer temperature on the hill later today ^_^ Emerald Express was closed all day yesterday but skier volume was light at the other lifts. Happy Tuesday!

Forecasts vary on just how much snow we'll receive over the next 48 hours: but expect mixed visibility; cooler temps; variable snow - dust on crust, pow, schralped, corrugated roof firm groomers this morning perhaps, ha. It's spring! There are TONNES of events on this weekend!! I hope to see you at the GLC on Sunday at 3:30pm for the annual Balding for Dollars fundra...

Gotta love a great spring patio aprés! Skiitour are back on April 12th at the GLC, FYI. Tim and Rollie also spotted a scraggly bear yesterday: they're coming out of hibernation! Happy Thursday! Snow is on the way starting tonight after another sun-shiney morning ^_^

I hope you managed to see some of the Aurora last night through the clouds?! WOW! Roughly 10cm of fresh this morning - huzzah - with another 5cm forecast to fall throughout the day today. It was definitely dust on crust in spots yesterday, ha. We'll have colder temperatures this weekend and cloudy skies before some sunshine arrives late Sunday into Monday ^_^ Bon weekend!

The sun really packs a punch now eh? With lots of people noticing the warmer valley weather yesterday - despite the colder temps and winds in the alpine - some goggle tans are getting a real power up now! Which also means the sun can weaken cornices very rapidly! Happy sunny shredding today ^_^
