Our series on the book Acts called "World Upside Down" is back with Christin Woods giving a brief recap then teaching from Acts 10-11. What does hospitality look like in the early Church and how does it challenge us today to show radical hospitality.

Bob Osborne finishes up our series Properly Formed by unpacking stories and remembering. Human being forget a lot and a major part of spiritual reflection is to remember alongside God. As God forms our story he asks us to remember in order to redeem all aspects of our story.

What does beauty have to do with our prayer life and the overwhelming amount of anger and resentment found in our world. Bob Osborne continues our series discussing how beauty and the recognition of beauty has a direct correlation to a healthy prayer life.

We are continuing our Properly Formed series with special guest teacher Bob Osborne. Bob unpacks what it looks looks like to handle dark times through which he refers to as acedia (despondency, despair). How does prayer impact us in our moments of great despair can the Spirit give us strenght?

Our Properly Formed series is back uncovering practical approaches and moves to root our spirituality in a way that helps us encounter God. David starts off the series preaching on embracing a wider liturgy. What can we learn from different Church traditions then our own?

It is Pentecost Sunday and we are finishing off our Jonah series. David Harvey lands our series by unpacking how Jonah helps us understand God and ourselves and the delves into how the story issues relate to Pentecost and today. If God is seeking redemption for all people including our enemies how does that affect how we interact with people.

David Harvey continues our series on Jonah, unpacking chapter 4. After Jonah's sermon and Nineveh's response we see God extend mercy to the city. After all these events we see Jonah's reaction to God's mercy. Jonah is angry to the point he wants to die. Throughout all of this we see God's consistent character of wanting to give mercy and restore.

We continue our Jonah series this Sunday looking at chapter 3. We look at Jonah’s not so impressive sermon and how it speaks to both Jonah's character but also Gods.

We continue our Jonah series working through chapter 2. Chapter 2 is jammed packed with allusions and call backs throughout scripture. Jonah chapter 2 is a reflection on death and resurrection that pulls from Exodus and the Psalms plus allusions to Jesus.

David Harvey continues our series on the book of Jonah camping out in chapter 1. As Tim Mackie says, “In the book of Jonah, everything is upside-down. Everybody does the opposite of their stereotypes, including the pagans and including Jonah. The only person who seems true to form is God.” This satirical account we have a mirror image of us as humanity.

We are continuing our series on the book of Jonah. David looks at the inconsistent character of Jonah and how it contrasts with God's character of love. Jonah is reluctant to go to Nineveh becuase as Jonahs says, "I knew that you are a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abounding in love, a God who relents from sending calamity."

We begin our new series on the book of Jonah called "All the Way Down: Jonah Beyond the Whale". David Harvey gives an overview of the book and unpacks how the story of Jonah is a story that challenges our conceptions of how God treats our enemies. Jonah is satire that mirrors our often faulty our understanding of Gods love for us and for him.

He is risen! David Harvey and Christine Woods speak on John 20:1-18 unpacking the story of Mary. How does the resurrection of Jesus speak to our experiences of hell on earth? Jesus descended to hell and was resurrected therefore whatever you may be going through he is with you giving hope.

It is Palm Sunday and David Harvey speaks on the arrival of Jesus to Jerusalem on a donkey. How does Jesus' upside down approach to a kingdom affect how we love our enemies and use power? Jesus arriving to Jerusalem in humility was in direct contrast to a King of power and prestige.

After our Sunday conversation about the communion table, David, Tyson and (later) Christin, meet online to discuss their responses to some of the questions raised in the Sunday conversation. They discuss a variety of subjects relating to how we have all felt or could feel excluded from the table of the Lord.

As we continue the journey of Lent towards Easter we have a conversation on communion.  David and Tyson open it up to the congregation, leading a conversation on their experience with communion.  What does it mean that Jesus welcomes anyone who wants to follow him to the table.  

David Harvey continues our series in Lent unpacking the Lord's Supper.  What does a symbol mean?  How have we undermined communion by minimizing it to "just" a symbol?

David Harvey continues our series in Lent this week discussing the road to Emmaus from Luke 24:13-35.  

This week Tyson McCombs invites us to the table.  Tyson gives a quick history on the table and how we have often put barriers in place of people coming to Jesus.  What would it look like to have an open table and all who wish to come may partake. 

It is Baptism Sunday!  Join David as he discusses what baptism is and why it is worth the celebration.  

David finishes up our series, "Unchurched" speaking on those on the margins.  How does the Church interact with those who are poor, marginalized etc.  What does it mean to say God gives preferential treatment to the marginalized.  Join us as David unpacks this idea through the texts of Luke 18:18-30 and Luke 19:1-10. 

David is back as we continue our new series "Unchurched."  What does it mean to be light of the world?  How do we as a Church seek to first learn?

This morning our Co-Lead Pastor, Christine Woods, begins our new series called "Unchurched."  The Church is all about Jesus but also our lives should all be about Jesus.  What does it look like to be Jesus centred throughout the week not just on Sundays.  

It is our last Sunday with Bob Osborne as he finishes off our Ghost series.  Bob talks about discernment and how humility is the posture we take well discerning what God's will is.
