David continues our series, “How to be a Church” staying in the book of Ephesians.  David talks on how Paul emphasizes the centrality of Jesus yet doing so breaks down walls human beings put up to exclude others.  How can we as a Church be Jesus centred and also inviting to all on the journey towards him.  

David Harvey begins our new series, "How to be a Church."  Churches have had to adapt and change so much in the last two years.  It has forced us to ask tough questions and reconsider our values.  David begins to unpack Ephesians seeing what Paul envisioned the Church to be and what is next for the Church.

It’s not that I don’t pray it’s that I pray unaware.  David explores the idea of the unawareness of prayer and we actually pray far more often than we probably realize. Prayer is much more expansive than we realize and also has a really low bar.  Christin then joins David to talk about rote prayers and the value they add to our prayer life.

We start our new series on prayer where we will engage on the questions of why we should pray and does prayer actually help? Prayer for many people is associated with guilt because we believe we don't do it well and/or don't do it enough. This series will hopefully encourage people to pray more because God just wants us to start praying and asking for help.  

David finishes off our series, "the Cost of Privilege" preaching from Acts 16:16-40.  David discusses how Paul and Silas use their privilege to further the Kingdom by dismantling oppressive and corrupt systems rather than using it for their own interests.
