Matthew 6:12 || Our daily need to pray for forgiveness reminds us of the Lord's compassion and compels us to forgive those around us.

Matthew 6:11 || As we freely ask God our Father to provide our basic needs each day, we’re reminded of our utter dependence on Him, we grow in gratitude towards Him, we’re awakened to the needs of others, and we’re fueled in the mission for His glory.

Matthew 6:10 || Praying your kingdom come is a cry for God’s good reign to break in to our sin-ruled world, beginning with our own hearts, through the Lordship of Jesus, resulting in a transformed culture where His desires are obeyed and His purposes are trusted.

Matthew 6:9-13 || Despite our propensity to shrink back from conversation with God, He has not stopped wanting to talk with us and through Christ has purchased the ability to talk face to face with Him.

Matthew 6:9 || In first asking our Father to hallow his name, we are radically re-centered around His glory, thereby igniting our longing for it, awakening our awareness of it, deepening our enjoyment in it, furthering our obedience to it, and stirring our participation into it.

Matthew 6:9 || As the Fatherhood of God redeems our broken pictures of dad, it not only stirs us to pray but entirely shapes how we do it.

Hebrews 12:1-2 || In our struggle to endure, we can continue to run our race by continually casting off what hinders and fixing our eyes on Jesus.

Matthew 12:38-42 || Jonah is ultimately fulfilled in Jesus, who with His death and resurrection provides the only sign we need to trust this God of relentless mercy and to proclaim Him to other seekers.

Jonah 4 || God patiently deals with us in our unfounded anger, self-pity, and protests of His will, exposing our self-focused hearts while leading us to His all-compassionate one.

Jonah 3 || In God's great missional heart, He calls us to take the mercy we've experienced to others, especially those who are different, foreign, and even enemies. To be saved is to be sent.

Jonah 2 || God’s relentless mercy meets us in the depths of our need, saving us through the very thing that swallowed us.

Jonah 1 || We are all called to arise and go! But rather than taking God's gospel love to others, we refuse and run the other direction. Thankfully, God pursues us in our self-centered rebellion with relentless mercy.

Romans 8:18-25 || In the return of Christ, God will save us from the presence of our sin, abolishing forever the pain & struggle of our current suffering as we experience the fullness of His glory.

Romans 8:5-11 || In the resurrection of Christ, God has saved us from the power of our sin, progressively freeing us from its enslavement through His indwelling Holy Spirit.

Romans 8:1-4 || In the cross of Christ, God has saved us from the penalty of our sin, removing its condemnation by bearing it for us.

Luke 22:7-20 || The sacrament of communion is a visible sign and seal of God's grace towards us in Christ, inviting us into the cross to remember our rescue and renew our covenant.

Acts 16:11-34 || Through a variety of ways God interrupts our story with his love, opening our hearts to believe in Him and giving us a new story.

Philippians 4:14-23 || Sacrificial giving to further the gospel is essential to our joy.

Through Christ’s enabling strength, we can be content in any circumstance.

Philippians 4:8-9 || When our minds are set on the things of God our joy is awakened, we are effective in the Kingdom, and we experience the peace of God.

Philippians 4:4-7 || Through trusting our sovereign and good God in prayer, our anxiety can be overridden by His protective peace, converting our 'what if's' into 'even if's'.

Philippians 4:1-3 || Community centered around the gospel is not only worth fighting through the messiness of, but it's altogether necessary for our joy in the Lord.

Philippians 3:17-21 || As citizens of heaven we must look different than the world, not avoiding the cross by living for the here and now but eagerly awaiting our Savior and future home with Him.

Philippians 3:12-16 || Christian maturity is marked by the ongoing process of pursuing more of Jesus.

Philippians 3:7-11 || The superior joy of knowing Jesus causes a total transformation of our treasure. Jesus is Better!
