The Weekly Pint

New Year's is fast approaching, and while I don't really make resolutions, it sort of seems appropriate. We talk about success, we talk about new taprooms, and we drink a little schnapps a bit of beer to wash it down.

There's been a LOT of talk lately about places closing or struggling - and a lot of folks want to call it a "beer bubble" - but you don't hear the same talk about restaurants which seem to be struggling as much or more than our local breweries are. We'll talk about that, check out some recent label approvals, and drink a few beers (and maybe some schnapps) to celebrate the season.

This show was INTENDED to be a salute to the dark beers that tend to dominate this time of year. As you should be famliar with at this point if you're a regular listener - it doesn't always work out the way you expect on TWP. My littlest kiddo was hanging out and super talkative, that along with a football game at the same time, made things a little too chaotic for a normal episode!

I fully intended to talk about drinking during the Christmas season, but after being sidelined early on with one of my kids... it all went off the rails (as usual).
