Paul Weller - Piccadilly Radio Birthday special 1984 07.12.2024

I invited Paul Weller to make hour long programme  for Piccadilly Radio's birthday and this is the show I produced. The tape was found in my loft and thank you Stephanie Hirst who digitised it. There are fascinating insights into his formative years growing up and a wonderful choice of music.  It was broadcast once on Piccadilly and hasn't been heard since.. George Michael on Piccadilly Radio May 31st 1984 01.08.2023

On the day Wham went to Number 1 with Wake Me Up Before You Go Go  George Michael was a surprise guest on Timmy on the Tranny.  I just happened to record his visit and decades later found the tape in my loft. WKRP in Cincinnati was always a favourite  TV show. The theme tune was heard nightly on my Piccadilly Radio show with my version. I'm living on the air at Piccadilly Piccadilly that's the one for me!
