The Evil Dead movie Les and Nick heard was gawd-awful finally gets a shot... and it's a complicated mess. This movie 90% RIPS. Just great stuff. Then it collapses in the last 15 minutes into a sad wreck that STUNNED the dudes. Seriously, what was the thought process on making this? The Dudes get into every gory detail and go much deeper into this movie than expected. Let's GO!!

This week, we check out Mike Flanagan's new Carrie series on Prime, and get the answer to the eternal question - do we need a (i wanna say) FIFTH Carrie iteration? TURNS OUT, YES. The show is fantastic so far, and we'll get into all our thoughts on the changes, the performances, and more. We're only halfway through the series, so we assume prom goes great for her, right? Plus, that LANTERNS finale...

As part of our Spooktober ROLL FOR SPOOKY, we made up a mess of fun this week! It's the BANANA SPLITS MOVIE! This mostly-forgotten flick from 2019 was the best of the "five nights" type movies (FNAF, Willy's, and the Splits). Don't think I'm right in that assessment? We break it all down in this episode. TRA LA LA LA LA LA LA! Les grew up with the Splits, and Nick never saw the original show. Will...

This week, Les and Nick kick off Spooky Season with Mark Duplass and Patrick Brice's simple as hell but endlessly entertaining CREEP series! You know, the one about a serial killer who hires victims to film him... Two movies that shouldn't have worked gave way to three seasons of the dead-simplest anthology show. Is it good? Yeah, actually. It's pretty freaking fun. Let's discuss! Plus, Lanterns!...

This week, we head into Raccoon City for the newest Resident Evil movie, and holy hell did we love it. It's funny, it's gory, and we only had one tiny quibble with it. What didn't we like? You know we're gonna tell you. Let's GO! #ResidentEvil

This week, Nick and Les spotlight a great new animated show over on Netflix that we think is getting lost in the shuffle - it's the Mike Schur co-produced DANG! and it's funny as hell. Wanna know why?? We get into all the hilarious details. Let's GO! Plus: President Curtis, Neagley, and you know we watched Lanterns... 1:20-TV Diaries 7:40-15:35 President Curtis (HBO) 15:35-42:05 Neagley (Prime) 42...

After an abandoned attempt at watching Tommy Wiseau's BIG SHARK, the Dudes checked out a much better bad shark movie. WATER PARK SHARK!! If the title of the movie didn't make you stop reading, you're our people. This movie is a hoot, and we talk all about it! Let's GO! #WaterParkShark #BigShark #TommyWiseau #OhHiShark

This week, Patreon Showrunner JPV picks the topic, and it's THE VARNELL HILL SHOW! Nick and Les didn't grow up on much Martin, and might be lost as hell in this spinoff of a decades-old sitcom. But we're rolling through it anyway! Les loves a classic sitcom... maybe this'll charm the Dudes. Let's GO! Plus - REACHER FINALE! New Ted Lasso! That LANTERNS episode!! #TheVarnellHillShow #Reacher #TedLas...

This week, Nick and Les head to the theater to check out Casper Kelly's new movie about a kid's show that goes horribly wrong! Did Buddy capture our hearts, or leave us picking apart the lore? Bit of both, honestly. Check it out!

This week, we check out the spin-off of Rick and Morty starring Keith David as the coolest president ever! Can PRESIDENT CURTIS define itself against the juggernaut of RICK & MORTY? (Spoilers - it's pretty fantastic!)  Plus, we check in on REACHER, talk about TED LASSO, and you know we watched LANTERNS! Let's GOOOOOOO!

This week, we're chatting about Season 2 of the FX sitcom ADULTS! Les binged s1 last year and liked it, but didn't go and tell the world... now season 2 is back, and seems stronger? more dialed-in? Less Billie-centric? But the burning question - Will Nick think it's funny?? Plus, we talk a little Lasso, a little Lanterns, and that FURIOUS FINALE!!... it's all in the diaries! Let's GOOOOOO!! 1:00-...

This week, we caught a movie that had slipped our radar, and boy did we luck out. Saul Goodman himself starring in a movie Les thought was a sequel to Nobody (that's actually Nobody 2). Normal is a 2025 crazy-ass action movie from Ben Wheatley, and WOW DOES IT RIP. Seriously, we had a blast watching this. So fun, I'm a little mad no one was screaming its praising last year. It's awesome! Wanna kno...

In brightest day, in blackest night... That's right! With two episodes out, we're talkin' Lanterns! Nick and Les are both comics nerds, and are ready for a space-farin' crazy aliens and glowing oven mitts show about Hal and John! *checks notes* Ah. Or, I guess a True Detective meets Fargo thing with a power ring that makes birds and can openers. That's fine too. Let's GOOOO!!! Plus, over on diarie...

This week, the Dudes head to the cinema for the best Spielberg movie not made by Spielberg (really, it's the best Joe Dante movie not made by Joe Dante, but we'll get into that...) We saw END OF OAK STREET, and it absolutely rips. Go see it immediately. Dinos in the 'burbs! It's everything we wanted, and all over the place tonally, but wow. What a fun flick. Curious about all the spoilery details?...

This week, patreon member JPV picks the show (you can too! It's the Showrunner tier!)  We watched season one of Diarra From Detroit (well, Les watched s1, Nick watched episodes 1-4) and are back in town to tell you what we thought! Will this modern noir mystery charm the dudes? Let's find out!! Plus, diaries! We got Rick & Morty, Reacher, Ted Lasso, Furious, and the My Adventures with Superman...

Go exploring with the TV Dudes as we travel with Kathryn Newton and Lana Condor and run afoul of a shark where a shark shouldn't be! Y'know, "Terrible Bestie" should be a sub-genre to itself in horror... it's always that force-of-personality best friend dragging someone into danger, and The Devil's Mouth is no exception. Did we enjoy it? QUITE A BIT (pun intended). Could it have been better? Absol...

This week, we're VERY ANGRY (if only there were a better word... oh wait!) We're FURIOUS at how much we're enjoying Hulu's new crime show! Emmy Rossum is Agent Alice Black, and if she can keep it together, she might just catch one of the more interesting serial killers on TV. It's heavy subject matter, and much funnier than it should be (but that's to be expected from the creator of Dying For Sex....

For our Patreon bonus review this week, we travel to the cinema for the biggest movie opening ever?? Spider-Man Brand New Day lived up to the hype, and we go into all the details why it thrilled us. Join us for a spoiler-filled discussion of all things web-slinger!

This week, we visit an old friend in Kansas (or is this Missouri?) and recruit Ted Lasso back onto our screens! Will the fourth season be all that we need from this most special of shows? Maybe. Who knows? We're one episode in, people. But yes. It's great so far. Hear us gush about all things Lasso rightnow! Plus: XMen97! Cape Fear Finale! My Adventures with Superman! Nick talks President Curtis!...

This week, we hit the links for Will Ferrell's return to TV on Netflix' THE HAWK! We're told he's a golfer, perhaps the GREATEST GOLFER IN THE WORLD! With a stacked cast of comedians and a Happy Gilmore-ish premise, we're down to watch a few. What will we think?? Tune in and find out!! Then, we check out My Adventures with Superman, XMen97, and more in diaries! Let's GOOOOOOO! #MyAdventuresWithSup...

As our Patreon special episode this week, we review The Sheep Detectives, starring Hugh Jackman as a murdered shepherd, and a stacked voice cast as his flock of sleuths! It's one of the most adoable things we've seen in a minute, while also carrying strong themes and some heavy, holy-crap-is-this-an-80s-kids-movie moments. We absolutely LOVED it, and per usual, are here to tell you why down to the...

This week, we recover from the 600th Episode reunion with a catch-up on everything we've been watching! X-Men97? Heck yeah!! My Adventures with Superman? Yes, please. A little Cape Fear? Don't mind if I do. Plus, Les chats about Sugar (no spoilers) and Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed (a surprise gem, all eps available now on Apple). and then there's a little something to be said about those final two...

This week, we celebrate our 600th (at least) episode with a reunion of the Dudes! Grant, Randy, Kyle, Nick, and Les have a chaotic catch-up about all things TV Dudes! What are our previous hosts watching, now that they don't have to discuss it weekly?? Will Kyle drive Nick nuts? Was Nick already too crazy for us to notice the shift? All these answers, plus Grant tells us about Dungeon Crawler Carl...

This week, we journey across the pond for 2025's British sitcom Transaction! It's a workplace comedy about a transgender egomaniac, her flatmate, and their coworkers... does it get to the heart of what makes sitcoms work across the history of television? Or will this be a cringe-worthy misfire of epic proportions? Jordan Gray just got an award for her stand-up, so let's see if it works in a show!...

We'd heard it was this script that actually blew up Krypton, but c'mon - it can't be that bad. We saw Borderlands. Nick and Les head to the movies to see the latest DCU outing under Gunn's leadership. This one has a lot to love, and so many tiny things to be bothered by. The biggest sin? It's a little boring at parts*. Check out ALL our thoughts here, and find out where we fell in the scope of cri...
