The Tish and Ian Show

People railed Jack and Jill but sweet sassy molassy, this movie is a travesty. Weird number of more current SNL cast members and they can't even save it. This is a true Sandler cesspit of "comedy". Poor Samberg...

You know something is wrong in the universe when Jack and Jill is not the worst movie Sandler ever made. I'm saying this with confidence since we watched the absolute nightmare that was That's My Boy soon after. Pacino even at his lowest low, destitute, and needing any acting job after being defrauded of all his money, still plays it at an 11.

Once again, who is this for? Its too raunchy/adult topics like abusive/controlling relationships but also poop jokes. Also, instead of getting someone arrested for abusing a gorilla, they just kinda beat him up and call it square. First, the gorilla would win. Second, get real justice for that!

The beginnings of the Anistan era. The kid actors have like 1 or 2 good bits and that is probably the highlight of the movie. Think about that, a child is out bitting Sandler, a "professional".

Finally, a good movie! Cohen brothers waste no film in this. Even if it wasn't just after Grown Ups, I still give this high praise. More laughter than any Sandler. And we're getting into prime Cage era now.

Its like he strained all the fun out of an actual summer by the lake and left the bad. At least Schneider isn't doing some type of brown face this go around and with the state of our country, I'll take that as a plus.

Fun movie, beautiful score, Cage is a goober. Shout out to Sofia Coppola and "acting". *Skipped due to not finding it: The Boy in Blue*

We had a bit of a delay from watch to record but the pattern is Judd Apatow movies are good. Especially when they mock Sandler. He should do more of this but he's making hundreds of millions from netflix so you know, money.

*NEW EQUIPMENT ALERT!* Now we don't sound like we're in an echo-y office! An Aunty Donna sketch and our lack of X-Men knowledge led us to watch this alternative to morphine.

Another serious Cage, its for the birds. Actually It's about PTSD, the Vietnam war, and birds. Any ways, I made the cookies and they crushed.

Sandler tackling the next hot button political issue, middle east conflict! Oh but have you heard of hummus? They put it on everything, isn't that weird? Also, he's totally straight in case you questioned it.

Disney and Sandler? It's the worst movie for kids and the worst movie for adults, misses both marks pretty hard. But boy oh boy, does Rob Schneider do an ever so "tasteful" red face.

You ready for Sandler to sensitively handle this one? It's ok though, once bigotry directly effects him, now he cares!

Wacky hijinks ensue as Sandler loses it all! I joke but I truly think we'll get Sandler's take on Schindler's list. Also Shadow of the Colossus cameo.

Van Damme, Van Damme, and Van Damme in... 2 movies, but 3 Van Dammes? Dennis Rodman also plays a cardboard cutout of himself very well with how stiff he acts.

An unexpected delight. A tale of life in gang lands and what happens when governments abandon their people.

Brad Pitt stars as a cop in a cartoon world stopping cartoons from having sex. This is 100% real.

This movie takes a turn and we take a turn rambling. I imagine a lot of sad bros expecting more remote control shenanigans rather than a story of capitalism crushing a man to dust.

Big surprise, its real bad. Lots of big tangents.

Little whoopsie-daisy and wasn't recording the first 30 minutes. Any way, sports!

Another "serious" one. Tea Leoni is great. Consider this is a college essay and then think about a mom telling all these details to a child.

It's actually a horror movie.

Another double feature. The early 2000s were so cool you have no idea. The Blade trilogy should be included in this claim.

This was a years in the making project. I mention it in the episode but check out Chris Dane Owens music videos because that's what was out nearly 10 years ago that spawned this movie.

What a roller coaster, first time I saw either. These movies could not be any more different.
