Taurus report comments upon research this past month on conical, bi-polar galactic outflows. These are consistent with the way that Cyclic Gravity and Cosmology (CGC) presents Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) as re-cycling matter in the universe. Standard theory does not explain the shape nor the reason for these outflows, while CGC does explain them.

GR-LCDM ignores periodicity in the redshift of observed galaxies because they can not explain it. They also can not explain how early galaxies have a normal distribution of metals. They try to deal with this by inventing another unobserved fantasy: Monster Stars.

GR predicted the precession of Mercury, and similar time dilation and increase-of-mass, both in a gravity well and at relativistic velocity. CGC presents a better way to explain these things. We also take a look at some new papers that try to explain recent JWST observations.

Solving a triangle using quatern measure demonstrates that the analogue trig functions for quaterns are algebraic. This means that vectors, rotations, solving triangles, cross and dot products, etc can all be done without transcendental functions. With quaterns they are all exact and algebraic.

CGC presents gravity as a relic of the electromagnetic force due to charge fluctuations in macro-objects that are overall charge-neutral. This same presentation of gravity also explains the mysterious existence of the magnetic fields observed spanning the cosmos.

According to the standard model of gravity, the ejected dust from the Wolf-Rayet star 140 should be a sort of warped spiral. Forget "Population III" stars. Forget the big bang idea of modelling elemental abundances starting from the primordial soup just after "inflation." CGC presents a cosmology wherein elemental abundances stay approximately constant forever, with quasars and other "black holes" serving as centers of elemental recycling.

Structures that challenge GR-LCDM Cosmology. Large scale distribution of galaxies, the fine foamy structure of galaxies now seen by JWST, and a few other recent discoveries support the semi-static view of the universe depicted in CGC. An eternal universe.

Standard theory considers the Bullet Cluster to be proof of the existence of dark matter. I explain the Bullet Cluster using Cyclic Gravity and Cosmology (CGC). Then I respond to several other criticisms. Lastly, I go over some experiments that might disprove CGC or disprove General Relativity.

CGC presents a different picture of black holes. This description of black holes also explains elemental abundances in a very different way compared to GR-LCDM cosmology

CGC posits that neutrinos inhibit quantum processes, and that they deflect light. This assumption accounts for time dilation at relativistic velocities and near strong sources of gravity, without the need to posit the deformation of space. CGC adapts General Relativity allowing a return to Euclidean space. There is no need for dark matter, no need for dark energy, and no need for the big bang.

I explain why we need to take an ad-hoc approach to gravity. It is not possible at this time to create a simple and elegent force law that applies to all contexts and all scales. The asteroid Bennu, the behavior of Oumuamua, the braided rings of Saturn, the behavior of comets, the flyby and Pioneer anomalies, all supply evidence of CGC in our own solar system.

In CGC, gravity is depicted as a relic of the the electromagnetic force. This means that gravity can be repulsive at some scales, and able to explain comsological expansion without needing to posit the deformation of space. It also means that gravity can sometimes be weaker or stronger than expected in some contexts.

Surprisingly, anomalous acceleration like that demonstrated by the interstellar asteroid Oumuamua hints at a new theory of gravity that can also explain what we're seeing through the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST).

When any modified gravity theory is proposed, traditional cosmologists tend to be dismissive, claiming that modified gravity can not account for the power spectrum of the CMB. In this episode I explain why Cyclic Gravity and Cosmology can do this.
