Brian & Zach debate whether Smallville S4E9 "Bound" is one of the rare "Grade A Stinkers" of the series. The results... may surprise you! 

We made an 8 months pregnant Emily P. Heller watch S4E8 "SPELL" -- the one where Lana gets possessed by an evil 16th Century witch. We really thought she was going to dig this one.  Some rough patches in the audio on this one, sorry!  

Brian & Zach watch S4E7 "JINX", featuring Smallville's very strange adaptation of Mr. Mxyzptlk. Also high school sports gambling. Also discussed: 2000s rom-coms, White Noise, and more! Old Spice: Red Zone did not sponsor this episode but if it ever comes back we're definitely open to it! 

Who could have seen this coming? The very same week Brian & Zach watch S4E6 "TRANSFERENCE"-- The episode where Clark swaps bodies with Lionel Luthor-- They experience a body swap of their very own! And they definitely don't struggle to keep the bit straight at all! 

It's Christmas! Also I'm getting this up late on Thursday night for a Friday morning release and I'm sure I'm going to regret that title! Brian & Zach watch Smallville S4E5 "RUN"-- the first appearance of The Flash! Also discussed: Our favorite Christmas movies and television episodes! 

Someone put kryptonite in the sports drinks, and all the football players have become brainwashed by their cheerleader girlfriends! And what happens when Chloe's crush on Clark is reignited? Spoiler alert: Probably the most explicit scene in Smallville so far? Also discussed: Gremlins, Superman & Lois, and LEGO Masters.

A Whitney jump scare! An absolutely wild marketing campaign! Teen plastic surgery and meteor freak powers that... don't make sense! And one of the best needle drops of the entire show! We watched S4E3 "Facade" -- not a GOOD episode of Smallville, but a comforting return to form. Also discussed: "Women Talking" "Black Christmas" and "Avatar: Way of the Water."

Clark and Lois get caught in a compromising position! Chloe might still be alive! John Glover makes a freakin' MEAL out of a shower scene! Brian & Zach watched S4E2: "GONE" -- Also discussed: Wes Craven's New Nightmare, Elvis, and James Cameron.

Season 4 begins! Clark returns to Smallville changed, Lois Lane arrives seeking avenge Chloe's death, and nearly everyone is naked at some point. Brian & Zach discuss S4E01 "CRUSADE"-- Also Nightmare on Elm Street 3, Falling for Christmas, and Superman: Man of Tomorrow.

It's The Talon Mix's ANNUAL SPOOKTACULAR where Brian & Zach cover a horror movie starring a member of the Smallville cast! This year they tackled LAKE PLACID 2 starring John Schneider and... woof, it's a rough one. 

Zach & Brian mostly discuss Halloween Ends, and then eventually get around to S3E20 "TALISMAN". 

This episode of Smallville GOES HARD! Brian & Zach discuss S3E19 "MEMORIA"-- and also Halloween, horror movies, and John Carpenter B-sides. 

Smallville passes the Bechdel Test for the first time (?) in S3E18 TRUTH. This podcast very much does not. Also discussed: Evil Dead II, Saturday Night Live's bear sketch controversy, and Andor (sorry). 

Brian & Zach discuss S3E17 LEGACY, the second and final appearance of Christopher Reeve on Smallville. Also Honor Society, what they would do if they hit Stephen King with their van, and how much they dislike LOGAN (2017). 

Brian and Zach talk about S3E16 CRISIS and really get hung up on the fact that the teens seem to be running the Teen Crisis Hotline. Also WE'RE ALL GOING TO THE WORLD'S FAIR and CONFESS FLETCH. 

Zach & Brian tackle S3E15 "Resurrection" briefly, because it's a stinker, and talk mostly instead about (deep inhale): Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Stranger Things, Misery, Morbius, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Halloween Kills, What To Expect When You're Expecting, Jurassic World Dominion, Uncharted, Dog, and John Q.
