What defines godly manhood or womanhood? If it is success, strength, beauty, or power then we’ve wasted our lives. In David’s last words we see God’s definition of manhood and womanhood.

There is promised a day of victorious return. He will return. At his return a spectacular event is going to happen. Every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. When THE MAN returns everything will be set right, forever.

Faith in God’s promise does not mean passively waiting for it to be realized. Instead, it means acting boldly and obediently, and doing everything possible in service to the rightful King and his kingdom.

Pride is our greatest enemy and the chief cause of misery in every nation and every family since the world began. Humility on the other hand is the way of Jesus.

Living in a fallen world can sometimes leave us feeling hopeless and helpless. But life without hope is a dangerous thing and we need to be reminded of God’s promises.

Mission-drift is when an organization, church or individual drifts away from their stated purpose and mission. We can be distracted, get in ruts, and lose focus. Jesus taught us the only way back.

The Tabernacle is a group of imperfect people desiring to be changed by the love & grace of a perfect God. We gather on Sundays to worship Jesus, then scatter to our communities as missionaries throughout the week.

The things that churches find to fight and divide about are legendary. But God calls churches to unity and harmony, which is only possible by re-focusing on what we’re for instead of what we’re against.

Everyone who truly encounters Jesus experiences real and transformational life change. Have you?

Jesus came, not to be served, but to serve. When we humble ourselves to be a slave, He calls us friend and the world sees something worth sharing.

The Grace of God is the most powerful force for transformation in the universe. Understanding what God has truly done for us in salvation becomes our daily motivation and our hope to persevere.

On the heels of instructing Titus to arm his congregation, and to rebuke the false teachers himself, Paul issues Titus a direct command. He uses the phrase ‘but as for you’.

When we think of false teachers, we tend to think of crazy, religious cult leaders wearing purple Nike’s and drinking cyanide-laced Kool-aide. But false teaching permeates our culture. It’s in churches and our homes. It’s on YouTube, Facebook and TikTok. We cannot escape it. We can only prepare ourselves for it.

The world judges good leaders based on their talent, personality, and organizational skills. But the Bible has a different set of qualifications, which must be demonstrated in public and in private life.

Everyone lives in spiritual darkness unless we receive the light of Jesus’ Gospel by faith. The challenge then becomes to walk in the light of the knowledge of the Gospel on a daily basis.

Does the Gospel of Jesus mean that everyone is automatically forgiven and reconciled to God? Will everyone be saved in the end? Or does God require a response from us?

Salvation through the Gospel is three dimensional for believers. We have been saved, we are being saved and we will be saved forever at the return of Jesus Christ, our blessed hope and motivation.

What exactly is the point of being a Christian? Is it simply to escape Hell, be a good person and go to church? Or is the Gospel supposed to do something inside of us?

Today’s culture can make The Church seem like just another thing on the calendar, or another club you can belong to, but we believe the Church is crucial to the life of a believer. The church is not merely another product to consume, but it is a body that followers of Jesus belong to. It is Jesus’s plan for spreading the good news and it will prevail in the end.

Jesus promised the Christian life would not be easy. But Jesus did not leave us to fend for ourselves either. Instead he promised a helper, the Holy Spirit, to empower us to live out the Gospel.

The cross is the centerpiece of the Gospel. Jesus' death was both the worst and greatest moment in history. It was the worst injustice ever perpetrated, while at the same time perfect love demonstrated, and the only way to salvation.

God created this world and called it good. But the experience of evil, pain and suffering are evidence that something is broken. The Bible tells us who broke it, and that God is not happy about it.

We don’t stand over God’s word as it’s judge, but under it as those willing to be taught, rebuked, corrected, and trained. If you claim to be a follower of Jesus then The Bible is not a just good teaching, morning motivation, or some light reading. It is the only truth we live by.
