The stories of Aeneas and Tabitha are not just about miraculous healing—they are signs that point to the power of Jesus to bring spiritual healing, salvation, and transformation. The greatest miracle is not raising the dead but raising a soul to life in Christ.

Friendships are often built on shared interests, convenience, or mutual benefit, and tend to avoid discomfort or confrontation. But friendships available through the Gospel are rooted in Christ, are marked by sacrificial love, truth-telling, and a shared pursuit of God’s purpose—even when it costs something.

It’s been said that God’s grace is the most powerful force in the universe. In Acts 9 we see that no one is beyond the reach of God’s grace, which has the power to save any sinner and to transform them into the most unexpected saint.

Philip, guided by an angel and the Holy Spirit, encounters an Ethiopian eunuch, he was led by the Spirit to minister to one. This passage is an incredible reminder that God deeply cares for the individual and values the needs of one as much as the many! Oh and Spoiler alert… There's supernatural transportation in this passage as well!

Ah, our old friend change. The thing that makes many folks fret. This is Revolutionary Change. God once again redeems a horrific act, the stoning of Stephen, into the beginning spread of the good news of Jesus Christ to the world. Jesus commanded the apostles to go make disciples of ALL nations and yet they seemed stuck in Jerusalem. The death of Stephen and subsequent persecution of Christ follow...

Stephen, a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit, is falsely accused of blasphemy and brought before the Sanhedrin. During his defense, Stephen demonstrates unshakable conviction, courage, and character. His resolve to honor God, results in his stoning and an earthshaking growth of the Gospel.

A simple and practical scene unfolds. The Church is growing fast, and the leadership is missing the boat in some areas. They just do not have the time to add this growing concern to their already full plates, so we see them delegate the responsibility to other qualified persons. Then, they are able to take care of a legitimate problem wisely, and do the job of teaching and preaching they were assi...

In Acts 5:12–42, the apostles perform miraculous signs and wonders that draw respect from the people but stir up jealousy among the religious leaders, leading to their arrest and persecution. Despite opposition and with miraculous intervention,  the apostles boldly continue preaching Christ, rejoicing in their suffering and demonstrating unwavering obedience to God over man.

Fear of having enough, attachment to material things, and not trusting God can hinder many Christians from being generous givers. But God is a giving God, and He calls believers to trust Him with every part of our lives — including our wallets.

Christians are called to be Jesus' witnesses to the ends of the earth. But many shrink back from being a witness out of fear or feeling inadequate. This is why we look back to how the Holy Spirit first empowered the Revolution.

God’s revolution redefines what’s possible when faith is in the name of Jesus, the name above all names. This isn’t just about belief—it’s about a power that flows through Jesus Himself, transforming lives in real time.

A revolution causes a complete or dramatic change. In Acts, we see that the revolution started by Jesus changed lives and radically redefined how they interacted with others in a multiplying community.

This passage highlights  the explosion of the beginning birth pangs of the early church? A rushing wind, a tongue “as of fire”, speaking praise in various languages understood by all, creates a foundation for the early church to begin to build what will be absolutely revolutionary!

God's sovereignty is His supreme authority and absolute control over all creation, events, and outcomes according to His will. But God also gives man free will, with the responsibility to make decisions that conform with God’s will and for His glory.

In this message, Pastor John shares that the work we put on is a part of the great domino effect that happens when people say yes to serving Jesus.

The Book of Acts begins with Jesus handing the baton of His mission to His followers. More than just church history, Acts is a blueprint for spiritual uprising that changes lives and relentlessly spreads God’s Kingdom to the ends of the earth.

With Jesus as Shepherd and us as His Sheep, we are just the people he has prepared for this mission. A light, an encouragement, a stirring, a doer and a gatherer. Gathering together for something so much bigger than attendance.

Peace is something everyone wants but few ever find. Our best efforts to find peace in life, with ourselves or with God remain elusive in a fallen world. But on a Sunday 2000 years ago, peace was declared for all who place their faith and trust in the resurrected Jesus.

Good Friday Message

Compassion is the combination of both recognizing the spiritual needs of the world and actively seeking God's guidance and provision to address those needs. We need to see as Jesus saw, feel as Jesus felt, so we can do as Jesus did.

Forgiveness is a difficult thing for sinful humans. It is hard to truly believe in the forgiveness that God offers us and to forgive others. But forgiveness from God is directly connected to forgiving others, and is the only way to find freedom in Christ.

Doubt and faith aren’t necessarily opposites. And having doubts about your faith doesn’t mean you are a hypocrite or not a Christian. It means you’re a human. But what you do with doubt, and who you choose to trust, is of the utmost importance.

This is the end. The end of the book of Revelation. The end of the the written Word. The end of all history. However, there is an afterword that promises to be even greater than the Book just finished.

Life's "heaven-on-earth" moments always seem just out of reach. But they do point to a transcendent reality, that this world is not our home and they cannot compare with what God has in store for those who love Jesus.

Our earthly picture of Heaven is incredibly limited and yet what is revealed to us is all we can possibly imagine and as much as we can understand.
