We look back to 2011 and forward to 2012 to revisit The Summit's heart and vision of Gospel, Community, and Mission.

As we conclude our Advent series, we study how our culture loves the concept of salvation and how a man named Simeon in the book of Luke claimed to see salvation firsthand.

We look at how the people involved in Jesus' birth are not only unlikely, but also a reflection of how God gives hope to the outsider.

As we're introduced to Mary, we see how the news that she would have a child would produce mixed emotions, and in her story, how God gives hope when we're afraid.

Skepticism and doubt are common experiences in the lives of both Christians and non-Christians. As we begin our Advent series in Luke, we see how the promises of God provide each of us with true hope.

As Paul concludes his letter, he gives us a lens to understand the relationships around us, ultimately challenging us to trust Jesus alone.

As Paul prepares for his death and begins assessing his life's story, he gives each of us a challenge - that we would live each day with the end in mind.

As we begin Paul's conclusion, we see that many of his final paragraphs of his final letter center around a central theme - that we would be men and women who love and know our Bibles.

Paul says that in life, it's not a question of "if we will be fighters" but "what we will be fighting for." And when the church is tempted to fight against itself, it must fight for unity.

We examine the difference of multiplying godliness rather than heartbreak, and see how Paul challenges us to view God's grace as something not just for us, but for those around us as well.

"There's nothing like the prospect of death to clarify the issues of life." As we begin 2 Timothy, we see the beginning of six final pleas from Paul as he faces death, the first being to not be ashamed of the gospel.

In the final section of 1 Timothy, Paul will not only give us a singular focus for our lives (be a man or woman of God) but also the means to reach this destination.

The Apostle Paul is going to show us that we're not only meant to have spiritual leaders in our lives, but also that we can have some criteria for how we relate to leaders and who we should follow.
