As we continue to study the story of the birth of Jesus, we see two pregnant cousins encounter one another, and a remarkable deferral and declaration from Elizabeth towards Mary. Luke 1:39-45

Luke 1:5-25

After two years in The Gospel According to Mark, we've finally come to the end.

As we study the resurrection of Jesus, we see not only what makes Christianity so different from all other world religions, but how our faith's uniqueness demands a unique response in our lives.

We examine the most dramatic pause in the history of the world, as Jesus spends three days in a grave, and see how this should lead us to reinterpret the times of waiting in our own lives as well. (Mark 15: 42-47)

At the Cross, we see that Jesus does more than just die, he takes on our shame and humiliation, so that we can walk unashamed before God. Mark 15:16-20

As we're introduced to Pilate, we meet a man who tries to remain neutral in his posture towards Jesus. However, as the scene unfolds we see that it's possible to maintain neutrality towards the aspects of life that matter the most. Mark 15:1-15

As Jesus goes to be judged by the Sanhedrin, we see Peter endure his own kind of trial, giving us a glimpse of the life-changing, substitutionary work of Jesus on the cross. (Mark 14:53-72)

We see Jesus abandoned by his closest friends in the moment he needed them the most, giving us a glimpse into how God has chosen to treat us, and helping us process our own feelings of abandonment as well. Mark 14:26-52

As Jesus celebrates the Passover meal with his disciples, he makes some very intentional breaks from cultural tradition for a very specific purpose that has significant implications on our lives. Mark 14:22-25

As Jesus prepares to have a Passover meal with his disciples, we see that he is drawing us in to find our story in this story, and having seen its truths, live changed lives as a consequence. Mark 14:12-21

Mark 14: 1-11 As we begin our study of the final portion of the Gospel according to Mark, we see the story of a woman who pours out her entire net worth onto Jesus, reflecting that Jesus is meant to be our supreme treasure.

As we conclude our series about how to think theologically about technology's influence on culture, we discuss how technology has influenced our understanding of sexuality, and how we can practically follow God's design for sex so that we might better flourish and worship as we were intended. Genesis 2:18-25; 16:1-6

This week we see how technology has the ability to both help strengthen, as well as hinder, our friendships in the most practical ways.

We kick off our series trying to think through a gospel lens about technology's impact on our daily lives and relationships, and figure out a healthy way forward so we can better worship and obey. Genesis 1:27; 2:15; 11:3-4
