Luke 11:1-4

We look at the next line of the Lord's Prayer of "your kingdom come," and see how God is inviting us into the great cause of establishing the reign and rule of the rightful king of the universe.  Luke 11:1-4

In the same way an untended garden naturally heads towards chaos, the life that simply “goes with the flow” drifts towards pain. It's the purposeful, intentional life that leads to flourishing. For Easter, we look at how the Lord's Prayer begins with the declaration that God is a perfect Father, and how this satisfies the deepest question any of us will ever ask. Luke 11:1-4

We look at how the first followers of Jesus responded to persecution and threat: not by retreating, but asking God for the courage to endure. Acts 4:23-31

We look at the first instance of opposition in response to the growing church, and discuss how we understand the opposition of the gospel today. Acts 4:11-22

In this final passage of Romans, Paul is finished explaining, confirming and defending a theology of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and instead burst forth into rich doxology in light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For everything exists to draw attention to the glory of God! We are moved from merely articulating rich doctrines in truth to worshipping with passionate doxology in praise! Romans 16:17-27

Paul, in expressing his appreciation for the men and women who were so instrumental in his life and ministry, shows us how one of God's greatest gifts to us is the people He puts around us. Romans 16:1-16
