Living the Life of faith in a time of educational chaos (not anarchy!) is no small thing. I can attest to that first-hand. But this is what is required of believers, and it cannot be done with cliches and short cuts. I have a T-shirt which says "Question Everything" on it. I think it upset some people, but the Apostle John does say to do just that when he wrote to "test the spirits." What does that mean, why don't we do it, and HOW are we to do this? It's life guidance that is relevant to Everyone in the clown-world we live in today.

Think on what is good and true which should lead to good and true actions. Today's virtue signalers just complain all the time.  Just a quick analysis of where all of this complaining comes from and how believers are to separate ourselves from the "complain" culture. It's not an easy thing to do in the world of "Subjective Value." But... it's the way of Peace... which we need today.

Paul wrote not to quarrel over words, but we are to use them correctly. People will often use the in-fighting in the church (even libertarianism) as an excuse not to join in some way.  To top it off, many people are in the business of confusing words and their meaning because it is profitable for them. How does one learn without creating a fuss and devolving into fighting? Give a listen.

So, how do we have unity when EVERYTHING in and out of church is so divided? I offer a place to start using this passage from Ephesians. The calling of Levi, an IRS agent, includes the critique by some of the Elites of the day, the Pharisees. This week, we take a look at the elites and all of the elitist things they do.  How are believers supposed to respond? Blessings and Peace.

How does one NOT complain when the trend these days IS to complain... about everything. But most things people complain about are not really a problem. Complaints today lead to political activism and legislation. Just say no to this destructive activity and embrace innovation and creativity. Blessing and Peace to us all!

People talk about privilege as if there's only one kind worth having: White Privilege. I have talked about white privilege in Ep 13 and Dollar Privilege in Ep 65 but neither episode addressed the Faith aspect of the concept. So, Faith Privilege, beyond the obvious, what is it and what does this mean for us as believers, as children of God. May this be a bit of grace for you, today.

This passage covers the story of David's anointing as future king of Israel. It is a foreshadowing of Jesus the Anointed. So, what does this mean for believers today? What do we do, how do we live in service to the anointed? It surely does not mean we do nothing.

It is hard to know what is good and what is evil these days. Some people have the advantage of the bully pulpit and thus have a louder and more authoritative voice. But the Lord does not leave us in the wind, he does provide for us the means through which we can seek and find Good. Happy New Year.  Yes... as usual, the message is a bit different from what some might expect from a church. In spite of that, I hope that it is a blessing to you.  What is the "New Thing" and what do we do with it? What do we do with the old? The subjective answers are in the recording.

For the last Sunday of 2023 a contrast with last week's message. The Sword of Jesus. The Prince of Peace gave us a sword to do battle. What is the sword and what does this have to do with peace? Hope you have a wonderful New Year's celebration.

Some people are beginning to catch on to what RACE really is. It's Christmas Sunday for the Subjective Preacher. Jesus did not come to the earth to perpetuate war or to enable moral hazards. Jesus came to give us a government of peace. Blessings to you and a very merry Christmas!

My mom actually asked that I preach this passage today. I guess I don't talk about Jesus enough. But it's a more theological type sermon about the character and nature of Jesus. One might listen trying to find flaws or points of disagreement; or one might try to find something which inspires. Hopefully, you will find something to start your week.

Temptation is a kind of test and though life is full of temptation, the Lord says that he also provides a way of escape. This week we will be examining the nature of the temptations or tests that we encounter and what that way of escape is.
