In recognition of the twentieth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina's landfall, The Slingshot from Levees. Org presents an hour-long special dedicated to the politics, consequences, and victims of the storm. Sandy. Rudy, and Stuart remember their own experiences during the disaster, and reflect on the work that's still to be done to ensure a safer future. 

Sandy and Rudy chat about what life was like for them personally in 2005 ––one month before the levees broke during Hurricane Katrina. They also touch on the state of local and national politics during that month before the catastrophe.
