Completing a four game series, the Astros took on the Yankees for opening weekend in the MLB. Although the season just kicked off, the Astros finish 0-4 against the Yankees leading to questions as to what happened? Steve joins the guys in recap of the weekend and what to expect going forward.  

After yesterday's phenomenal opening day with games all over the league, the Astros kicked off their opener against the Yankees. Coming up slightly short, the guys discuss a few missed calls across the games and concluded there isn't enough camera coverage. Does the MLB need more cameras in place?  

As opening day is now upon us, the Astros kickoff the season against the Yankees this afternoon with a three o'clock tip off. With spring training concluding and the season beginning after all the extensions and signings, Sean and Brian discuss are the Astros ready to make another title run?  

With the season opener kicking off tomorrow, the Astros still have a few business matters to finish as the season begins to roll in. With the first, the Astro's third baseman's Alex Bregman's contract extension. Sean and Brian discuss how much the Astros should resign Alex returning this season. 

Hosting their 2024 Annual Meetings, the NFL league owners meet and discuss possible rule changes to help better the sport of football and better regulate players safety. With recent rule changes to defense and special teams the guys discuss, are the rules actually helping the NFL or hindering?    

Yesterday, Shohei Ohtani broke silence after his interpreter had recently been fired for allegedly 'mass theft' in transactions involving sports gambling. With very vague answers, Ohtani states that he never knew of the situation nor gambled on the sport. Is it too early to say that he knew?  

With opening day only a few days away, the Astros will kickoff the season opener right here in Houston against the Yankees this Friday with an evening tip-off at 7. Astros Broadcaster Steve Sparks joins and speaks on a few concerns that are still lingering around as the opener approaches.  

It's been recently reported that the LA Dodgers have terminated Shohei Ohtani's interpreter, Ippei Mizuhara on "massive theft" allegations regarding sports gambling to the highest extent. Sean takes time out to discuss is it possible Ohtani knew about the situation beforehand or was he unaware?

At the start of free agency shortly after the legal tampering window opened, the Texans traded their first round pick in the draft (No. 23) to the Minnesota Vikings in exchange for their second round draft pick (No. 42). Now without a first round pick, the guys discuss was this decision necessary?   

With opening day almost on the horizon, the Astros begin to configure what to do next as their bullpen is somewhat crumbling. With Verlander and Urquidy both placed on IL, leaves Framber to open for the start of the season. The guys discuss should the Astros take the risk of signing on Trevor Bauer?

Recently, the Astros have announced and are currently monitoring Jose Urquidy's elbow injury as over the weekend Urquidy flew back to Houston to undergo an MRI scan. Still without any updated news on the results, the guys discuss should the Astros sign Blake Snell or look amongst other options?
