As small businesses, it is so important that we support each other. We may not always be able to financially support them with our business but there are lots of other things we can do that benefit them, us and the community. Cooking and baking competition shows have definitely had an impact on the industry. I have found it is making a lot of people feel like baking at home is beyond them because of the extremes they are show. It's also created some unrealistic expectations of people from their neighborhood bakery. That will be a recurring topic in my podcast.

It can be hard to get your name out there as a new business and to find your target audience. It can be even more challenging to keep them engaged and continue to grow your audience. I hope my experience thus far and how I work marketing for my small business helps make doing the same for yours a bit easier!
